Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - Bingus - 12-06-2021 Fingerprint Tech For FBI/NYPD forensic roleplay. Outline:
RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - Sir_Bodges - 12-06-2021 I feel if every cop has access to it they will just put people in the system for no actual reason. Which then harms RP in the future. Only when people are jailed should their fingerprint be stored or for another specific reason such as if they were found on a body. Not just a cop filing every worker of a shop for no reason by just buying food from them and logging their prints. People should only be added for a specific reason. If there was a way to prevent this I would be 100% on board. RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - Baldrick - 12-06-2021 +1 yes RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - TheDevil372 - 12-06-2021 I think to make it less op if a certain amount of people interact with an object only the newest prints would show or after a certain amount of time the prints will fade RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - Romullus - 12-06-2021 Ok but criminals wear gloves, you cant ignore that factor. And if multiple people are going to use the same item, it seems strategically sound to wash it with water every now and then. It would be hypocritical to implement something because it is accurate in rp but ignore the accuracy of criminal rp. This is a good idea, but the usage of gloves has to be implemented. RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - nobody_new - 12-06-2021 In the 80s a lot of kids were fingerprinted to help with missing children reports and kidnappings. Not to say a vast majority were. Having everyone in town with a Firearms License in the database is a sound reason to have them finger printed. Just an example of how easy most of New York could be in the database. I like the idea +1 RE: Fingerprint Tech (for forensic rp) - Lorenzo_Dimeo - 12-07-2021 -1 Unless you can find ways to work around it. Like taping gun handles, wearing gloves, and wiping your firearm with a cloth. |
