I like the idea of this; in-fact I had this same suggestion to management. Essentially, this could be added, but the in-order for this to be added. A wallet system would also need to be added, otherwise it would just clutter the inventory.

The map is small as well so it's easy to catch someone driving recklessly, the license seems kind of useless since it's just trying to find more reasons for cops to pester people. If the map was bigger then perhaps this would make more sense but it's small and easy to navigate.

That’s some pussy ass argument that I just decided to read. Read this thread and make it happen!

Cops that are assholes about lag have always been assholes. This wouldn't stop them.
(There should be a way to out of character prove that connectivity was the sole cause of recklessness through staff to prevent this abuse if this is implemented)
I love driving around fast as much as the next guy- but I'll be the first to admit it isn't realistic.
It'd be fun to see how this impacts the server and forces a bit more of a realistic point of view onto something that has been normalized to be almost DarkRP-like.

Unless it's implemented properly I could see this as a potential way for gatekeeping access to vehicles. I understand it could add some "realism" to traffic stops and more potential for the court systems. As long as users aren't required to get all the proper "documentation" for being able to drive a virtual car or a process like our gun license where you could wait 3 real life days. If users needed to take a small multiple choice test and pay a non-exorbitant fee for "taxes". Overall I don't see it being implemented in a way that would benefit the overall player base / roleplay to a degree where it would be worth it. -1
