I mean you can think that if you want, but in this situation its not relevant, per the server rules that you quoted urself the PK is valid in my opinion

It isn't intuitive to keeping new players around.

Like I really enjoy playing on this server, but I really would prefer not to have to grind all that back up again.
That's because the police are essentially a law enforcement entity, and should be not held the same standards as a civilian faction. This is intentional, as to discourage people from having "brave" ideas and second-think their choices before taking certain actions when interacting with police. This is not to say the police are immune to server rules nor in-game consequences if their conduct is of unbecoming.

Anyways, after reviewing the situation, I feel as though this is a relatively straightforward PK. Similarly to other PK appeals I've reviewed in the past, it seems that people just could not get their finger off the trigger for once and actually think carefully before acting.

Couple of things to note:

- Shown in the video, the cops were already leaving and walking away. Yet, you and your fine gentlemen friends decided to add more fuel into the fire by further provoking them. This is not to say whoever that Probationary Officer was was in the right, but more so if something like this happens, usually it can be resolved easily and effectively by just ignoring them.

- This would've been also easily resolved should you were to let the arrest take place and have it dealt there. The person would've been let go easily without much, if not any charges at all.

- it would only be escalation if the officers were to approach with hostile intent without any prior provocation. Evidently this doesn't seem to be the case.

- All of this is not saying the PD are free to act without consequence. You're free to report the situation to any IA officer or a Corporal+ and I can guarantee you they would've been more understanding of the situation.

This goes to show that at times you really ought to think with your head and not with your trigger finger.
