I am looking to start streaming on this server but worry about slurs or hate speech I might encounter that could get me banned on my live streaming websites. I think it would be a great opportunity for discoverability for the server and me because I take stream highlights and make shorts and tiktoks out of them. But just like anything I know there are trolls and can only assume that once people find out I am live they will follow me around trying to slip in any racial slur or slur they can think of. I get it is 1980s roleplay but not having a rule about it really doesn't do the server any good in my opinion and one little added rule could boost the server population to new average numbers. I just ask for a serious consideration on what I am saying because I played a little last night and it seemed like it had alot of good content opportunities.

If you wish to check out my links you can find them all in my twitch, thank you for your time.

Yes and No. If anybody watches the stream while playing in the server it can qualify as meta game and staff can get ban happy. If you say anything negative in anyway staff can call you a troll and ban you. Or if you just make them look stupid they can ban you. If you promote the server staff will let you pull a marki and let you do whatever you want with impunity. I'll say this much, we have people ( usually low rp characters but sometimes not) that regularly go around the server saying " the holocaust is a farce and Hitler did nothing wrong" or they say things like " I'm going to kill all the 'N-words' (with a hard r)" and it'll take around 10 tickets to get the guy doing that banned which on this server usually takes an hour and we get like around 5 of those a night on weekends. If a twitch mod see a guy doing that on your stream you could catch a 3-day pretty fast. All in all I'd say it is worth the risk. This is coming from a guy who's played the server for close to 3 years now but staff abhors me so take everything I've said here with a grain of salt.

Yes I understand that I am just asking for a reconsideration on adding some rules about it I think it could take the server to new heights on the side of business in my own experience never let personal ideas or how you feel interfere with business I see the servers who do enforce it usually have around a 100 player count consistently and it could bring a lot more revenue into the server if more content creators feel safe playing on it
I agree the rules and features do need to be changed asap to accomodate streaming. We need to add a feature that notifies us when a streamer joins, upon which point anything thats not allowed on stream becomes unallowed on the server. Guys I know you like your freedom of speech and being able to say what you want on the server but we're talking about streamers here, theyre better than us and do way more important things. Sure, you might be enjoying the weekend with your buddies, but the moment a streamer is around it doesnt fucking matter, hes the star, the server is his stage and his audience the only thing that matters. Whatever you were doing probably wasnt as important as the entertainment of potentially hundreds or thousands of viewers on his stream. If anything you should be honored for the scraps of clout you get from him even being in your fucking vicinity, if that happened to me id cry in joy and thank the heavens they sent a streamer to southside. I also motion for increasing the length of ban if its commited against a streamer, we dont want to scare them away so we need to be draconian on anyone who discourages them by RDM'ing them etc.
