Organization Backstory:
Talia Stevenson was a smart kid who grew up in Soho, Manhattan. She got top marks in all her classes and was always top of her class. Her parents were never home and their staff never paid her any attention so she had a tendency to sneak out. A lot. She would take ferries over to the other boroughs and mess around with the wrong people. Luckily for her, she never got caught. But how?
Cassandra “Toast” Thompkins was how. Toast was the definition of wrong type of people. Her parents never supervised her either so she had free reign of Brooklyn. She knew where to get drugs and weapons, who to sell them to, and which cops to bribe. She knew the ins and outs of the underworld. One thing about her at the time though, she was a hothead, especially when women were being hurt.
They met around the age of 14 to 16 when Talia had been nabbed by some thugs in a back alley while she was sneaking around one night. Toast had been roof hopping with some friends when they happened across the group surrounding poor Talia. Being absolute rascals, they climbed down and started opening up trash bags quietly. Just before the thugs laid their hands on the girl, Toast and her group had handfuls of garbage they started throwing at the thugs. Taken by surprise, they stumbled just in time for the kids to all escape. Toast had immediately an interest in the girl and intended on seeing her more often. She even found out where Talia lived to sneak by her house and talk to her. Some guards had caught her multiple times, but she still kept going back, once a week. Their connection lead to Talia receiving the nickname, “Butter”.
Talia started teaching Toast different subjects in school until they were 18. Having saved her allowance, Talia paid for Toast’s university tuition as her parents paid for her own. They both went into business and came out, as always top of the class. They worked for various companies and earned their own. They became common-law wives and made friends all over, while still keeping in contact with their old ones. They also met Marcy Castellan who later became the “Cinnamon” to their “Butter” and “Toast”.
A friend of theirs from the streets, Alan “Dally” Taylor contacted them to ask for some help. The neighborhood he had been staying in had been getting worse and worse, falling deeper into criminal hands and he didn’t want to see it all go to waste. Knowing their pension for wanting to help out, he came to them. Almost immediately they agreed. They formed a company, King’s Company, as a way for those who need help to be able to establish themselves or need to be protected (such as women or queers), to be able to be safe.
They would start a temp agency to replace the taxi and delivery service for newcomers to get jobs and make connections, allowing for more RP between characters.
TL;DR: King's Company is a legal faction headed by two of three members of a lesbian throuple who are women’s, disabled, and LGBT rights activists. They wish to create a faction -- and hopefully a city -- that is a safe place for all who need it.

+1 With the Grants being the only current Legal Business I think adding the King's Company would allow more legal rp to take place
