During the 1940’s through 50’s in the Middle East, there were nine clans that formed the Laventine Crime Family. These clans mainly consist of Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese, and Palestinian ethnicities. Each clan would be involved in drug trafficking, Arms Sales, and Violence that would further expand the criminal organization across the region. In the late 1950’s the Laventine Crime Family would migrate to parts of North America and Europe after a large melting pot of politics in the region.
The Laventine Crime Family’s main population would migrate with the Head of the Family Ahmad Waleed to North America and would land in New York City. The family’s goals were to make their own revenue and business establishments in the city and would go on to organize their ranks again in the United States. Ahmad would appoint his cousin as his Feriq awwal (second in command) Makram Mazen. They would go on to bring their traditional as well as tactics they used in warfare, most of the men within the ranks were former military. And others were very wealthy men who were forced to flee or leave their country and would bring their business venture across with them. The Laventine Crime Family would hold all its members involved to high regard and status and anyone welcomed and accepted into the family would have close relations with the family Elders. The head of the family would invest and purchase properties to launder and [b]mask his criminal activities, and hire trusted and respected men to run his establishments. The men that would move with Ahmad to New York City would be his most trusted relatives and family and would begin to organize the remnants of the family. There isn't much information known about Ahmad or Makram to the public, but behind closed doors, there were known leaders within the Crime Family each one starting from nothing would gain control over their territories back home.
