Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images):
Officially formed in 1981 and based out of Pennsylvania, Titan Corporation provided services to Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, including various tasks from information security to extreme security insurance of VIPs, property, and funds. This was commanded and executed by the brainchild of the Corporation, H. Ford, a former FBI SAC Agent who then became the founding director of the company for his need to continue protecting his country, but now at a cost. Throughout the following years, the Corporation ensured and followed out tasks employed to them by the Federal Government and sometimes private contractors. February 24th, 1984 the Department of Defense employed the Corporation to transport and protect an HVT (High value target), landing at Logan International Airport, since the government wanted little-to-none public acknowledgment of the HVT on their side. Knowing this, the Corporation still conducted the operation with flawless success by transporting the HVT in an unmarked convoy to its designated location. The following year would lead the Corporation into being hired by the Department of Intelligence to help gain information and secure said information on gun-runners, high-end mass arm producers and suppliers, and illegal federal body armor suppliers in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. The Corporation would use the following months to secure information from on-the-ground assets and learn the inner workings of the runners, producers, and sellers. The Corporation would conduct similar operations for the government within its "legal" bounds at a price, of course; this would go on for the following months. Over those months, the command structure of the Corporation would revaluate their dealings within the government and their involvement in abetting said corruption, realizing that the government's corruption was omnipresent at every turn (sinister undertones), the corporation saw the payout as way too good to give up. This leaving the Corporation's command split but intact for the company's sake; with this new dynamic emerging, the companies split command, Mr. Ford and his Deputy Director Mr. M, leave the government and decide where their allocated assets end up but with Mr. M yielding complete control of the ship to Mr. Ford, events have been set in motion. Soon enough, the Corporation would gain enough traction through the infallible reputation of its past and would be contacted by private citizens and local governments needing protection in the New York and Long Island areas; this would also include the selling and redistribution of legal firearms to help the citizens of the crime-ridden state with the security of private buildings, and other unspecified operations [See Montauk Project / Camp Hero].
Mr. M remembered those previous assets could help fund them and their future. They chose specific information to withhold and give to the government about the families and organizations in gun-running. They would instead gain a profit for themselves and his loyal followers. He would move into New York and New Jersey with Mr. Ford and start his back-stage production of illegal firearms. He would take this knowledge of production and sell it to the crime dwellers, but Mr. M had bigger ideas.
