PK Appeal for James Haddock - James Jamison - 10-10-2021

Reason for PK: Corruption
Why should you be unPK'd?: Well starting off, I was running for Mayor (If that means anything). I excepted 1 bribe of approx. $86,000 no further money reached my bank or my pocket. I instantly donated all this money to the NYPD. Most of my threats were in OOC or breaking metagame rules since my killers were in-fact using other characters to send threats in the NYPD discord. I was asked to appeal this PK by almost the entirety of the Police Department and think that James Haddock has certainly improved the NYPD and city by a small to medium metric.
I was also suppose to lead a strike on behalf of the PBA Union, but It never happened due to turn out numbers and other ongoing things.
If you would like to go into detail, I was shot in the Lobby of the Police Department, which would mean a Instant response from local LEO's and medical staff. I would have been sent to surgery immediately. Since I was shot with a shotgun from the front door, I was standing at the symbol in the center of the lobby, If I was wearing a vest (which I was) it would have stopped all the pellets that hit my chest.
If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines:
Most of the pictures you can see me and C. Adams which is a ALT character for Mr. Adam Flanagan arguing in IC channels about when or if I would be PKed. Jake Grant was using the proper character. So here it shows C. Adams abusing his roles in the NYPD discord to threaten and most likely give off information.

hi there so its me Chris Adams, so first off its not metagame as I didnt use another character to gain an advantage or get information, I pinged you in an ooc channel telling you the end was near I also sent gifs of a clock lmao. No metagame there, being mayor doesnt give you protection from corruption and no matter what you did with that cash you accepted a bribe
No actual threats are made in the screenshots shown, I just kept saying tik tik tik and showing clock gifs, only two of those screenshots are in ic channels and I threaten you in none of them
You were killed for corruption, you accepted a bribe from us and proceeded to cause issues.
To prevent you testifying against us and further investigating us we cut loose ends and whacked you.

I'm the one of the guys involved. Ghasts is a very close ally of mine, and had informed me of your corruption to him.
Then you decided to strike for the removal of Jimmy O'Connor and my arrest. As well as talk mad shit in IC chanels about you killing me first. I don't really appreciate when people do that, so Micheal and I decied to take you out.
Now your hit was a nice clean one, shot down and over with.

I'm the admin who accepted the PK on your character. I was shown evidence that your character collaborated with a crime syndicate, and in this situation took a bribe. The bribe taken indicates corruption but your character was not solely slayed for the bribe it was because you branched off from the person(s) who you took it from. After some consideration and investigating myself I deemed the PK valid because you were corrupt and going actively going against the faction your character was corrupt for.

Hello, unfortunately your PK has been deemed valid. Before we move on, I would like to mention a few things in mind:
- Unfortunately being a mayoral candidate does not exempt you from being PKed due to corruption.
- Whatever you did with the money unfortunately has no impact whatsoever on the fact that you accepted the bribe in the first place.
We can argue the specifics of what would happen in real life, but its best to keep in mind that this is a videogame, and that we'd have to make some compromises in terms of realism in the form of guidelines and rules. You were PKed because of those guidelines.
