Long Answer

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: *
I've wanted to become staff quite a few times, usually when people say "why don't you become staff". I've always delayed answering the question or making an application because of the thought of being a ticket slave. But one main reason is my timezone - I live in Australia so when I'm online, not a lot of other players or staff are online, but that doesn't mean the server can go unmoderated. Most of the time when I come on the server there are only one staff member online, and I know that can be pretty taxing having to deal with all the issues - that and ticket response times go through the roof. But then still, when no staff members are on it's really hard to roleplay with minges running around. Yes, they can be dealt with later but it destroys the immersiveness and enjoyment for the players at that moment. I have also been trying to involve myself in helping the server expand in numerous other areas, especially around the legal roleplay side. One can only help so much as an ordinary member of the community so becoming staff would probably be the best way to further that.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: *
I've been with the server since launch and I've grown up with the rules as they've been adjusted over time. I believe I have a good insight into the state of the community, their concerns and how it's been operating. I also feel that my general ability to form friendly connections and understand people would go a long way in dealing with the hot-headed members of the community (especially after they've been RDMed). I'm also quick on my feat and able to adjust to new environments and situations quickly.
Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long):
Mostly star wars rp servers - Galactic Gaming, Horizon Networks, Obsidian Networks. Didn't hold any high level ranks, just Moderator and Gamemaster. Had them for about one month each before the servers shutdown. I didn't include any short duration servers or my personal servers as I hardly think they would count.
Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?:
No. Only been warned for failrp once.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: *
I would say I'm well known amongst the faction leaders and the legal community of the server. I don't worry about my reputation although I think it's alright. Not so much with the crime rp side because of my controversial decisions as RP characters. I get along with most people fairly well - don't have a reason to make enemies.

A few have told me/asked me to join. Off the top of my head: Audrey (when he was still staff) and Hue; can't remember the others.

Problem Solving
Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.
Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:
If anyone breaks any server rules in front of me, I would conclude the roleplay situation I am currently in then go back on-duty. I would take the offender to a sit and carry out standard staff protocols. If someone makes a staff report about RDM, I will see if any other on-duty staff handles it first. If that other staff is busy with a ticket or if I'm the only one on, I would claim it and deal with the situation.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:
I wouldn't point it out straight to the staff member's face if they're higher than me - I have respect for superiors. But I would still make a note for if it happens again and/or I am questioned about it. If the abuse continues in an escalating manner or if they begin doing it rapidly, I would kindly remind them of what happens to abusers. By now I would have already sent evidence of the abusing to senior staff who can handle the matter.
A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?:
I usually vet my good friends before they join a server that I am dedicated on to prevent this scenario from happening. But in the event it does happen, the server rules always prevail whether it's a good friend or not. I would prefer for an other staff to handle the situation first to avoid any type of bias, but if that staff needs further assistance or comment, or even no one else is online, I would deal with the issue myself and bestow necessary punishments without remorse. Most of the time it wouldn't affect my friendship with them since they would know how I am when it comes to rules (yikes).
