Houses in suburbia - BasedGuy22 - 11-24-2021

I suggest that people who are not in a faction should be allowed to own a house in suburbia, it doesn't make sense that citizens and workers cannot buy a private house of their own.
Yeah I understand that factionless people should not be allowed to own big properties like apartment complexes and the motel since they wont be able to manage them on their own but at least they should be able to own a private property like a house if they have the money to do so.

While it’s not THAT bad of an idea, the main issue is a civilian coming up with 300-700k to even buy one.

RE: Houses in suburbia - hopleyt - 11-24-2021

not sure on that idea but it might make for some interesting RP because although it would give interesting r.p. Ideas what's stopping a faction from paying a white shirt to buy a property to increase the factions property limit

While I agree that properties unavailable to factionless individuals is aggravating at times. Perhaps a licensed business that’s civilian and proves they are active in RP would be a good consideration. Making a lengthy process for application to purchase with waiting periods for approval would stop random joes from abusing it.

This has been a thing before, until pendred hosted a community poll, where the poll was not in your favor

The reason this is a bad idea is simple because it gives new factions a chance to get a new property.

If civilians buy properties, it would leave no room for new factions to have buildings.

With it being how it currently is, makes room for new factions/groups to rp.

If you would like to own a property, ask someone in a faction that owns one to lease it to you, they are allowed to.

You do realize that I am only talking about the houses in suburbia, right? Not all properties
Also buying a house is very expensive, it's not like all the citizens are just rich enough to buy all the houses and not leave room for the factions to rp. Only a few of them will have the money to buy one.

If you are still worried about citizens not leaving room for factions, then I suggest making only 3 of the houses in suburbia purchasable to citizens. This way both citizens and factions can own private houses (making it more fair) and there will still be space for the factions to rp.

-1 look I understand what you mean it’s frustrating however actual properties are reserved for factions this is what hotels and the motel are for.

Pretty sure it wont become dark rp if you just make 2 or 3 houses in suburbia purchasable to rich citizens. I don't see how this will ruin mafia rp, in fact it's actually going to improve rp.

? Are you ok? I said if they purchase houses it would not leave new faction leaders enough properties to own. (Houses, since you dont use your brain)Why limit the amount oiof houses byable by citizans
