The Connolly Irish Mob
The Early days:
Patrick “Paddy” Connolly was brought into the world of crime at a very young age, His father James Connolly was the head of the Connolly crime family in a village known as Doolin in County Clare Ireland. The Connolly Irish Mob was formed by James in the 1950’s just as the troubles were about to begin in Ireland, being a rough time for everyone James had decided to take advantage of the conflict and expand The Connolly’s reach in Ireland. James’s end goal was to expand from Ireland and bring more wealth into the family, so the crime family moved east into Ireland, expanding their reach into more and more towns where James Connolly and his sons would bring more men into the fold and gain more rackets in Ireland, Starting one of the biggest drug and illegal alcohol rings in Western Ireland.
Years passed by and Paddy became older and with age he grew experience in the family, learning the in’s and out’s of how the family operated, learning how to run a crew and get things done effectively. As he gained experience so did he rise the ranks in the family and become the right hand to his father by the age of 20, becoming Underboss at such a young age was unheard of, but these were hard times and the family needed leadership and trust, and who better to trust then the Boss’s eldest son?
The Move to America:
The year is now 1970 and James Connolly asked his son Paddy to take his brothers and cousins to America to expand the Connolly reach and wealth. He gave Paddy the position of Boss as James was content with retiring even though nobody in this life really gets to escape it. Nevertheless Paddy took his brothers and cousins to America, where they took a ship into the port of Boston and began setting up shop; they had purchased a small pub where they ran illegal alcohol and small arms out of the back. The 70’s in Boston were profitable for the Connolly’s, They kept their noses clean and didn’t make any enemies. Paddy had gained the family honor and respect in the city of Boston with the other families and gangs, even the Italians had respect for the Connolly’s to some degree.
By the time the 1980’s hit, Paddy was about 30 years old and him and the Connolly family had a good foothold in America and especially Boston, but Paddy had his eyes set for New York and to move his brothers and cousins there with him, They did not know what awaited them in this new city but The Connolly Irish Mob could only hope it would be profitable and littered with opportunities to get the Irish back into New York effectively. (The story hopefully continues if you accept our faction). [/b]

+1 I’m going to be a part of this faction. This is something we’ve all worked hard on for months (if not years) now learning the server and the business(es). There is currently no Irish faction on Diverge and it would be an honor to present a fresh take on an old idea through RP! We are not New Yorkers!! We can promise a different way of doing things that is not cookie cut from the tried and true Italian model.
