Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I'd like to start by giving my story- for any who aren't familiar with what I had done that merited my punishment. Approximately a month and a half ago, I was playing the server late at night when I discovered a bug that allowed me to procure large quantities of money at a rate faster than normal. I discovered said bug by fluke and to my knowledge it is non-replicable. Despite this I will hold off on including details regarding this bug. I was initially away from my keyboard for a short time as money gathered- but upon my return I noticed more money than I should have. Despite my ability to refer the issue to staff- I decided to begin pocketing money from the bug, regardless of its repercussions. It was discovered approximately 1-2 weeks later that this was done. For this reason; I was banned.

I would like to start by saying; I apologize to both to the community and to the staff team.
It is not below me to admit my greed and selfishness- especially when I've taken center stage for it. I should not to any capacity have let primal interests get the better of me and threaten the community that I've come to grow into. This kind of issue has/had the full ability to shake the foundation of the server- and its no fault but my own that I decided to act as willfully as I did to try and gain from circumstance rather than hard work and devotion. With honesty in mind; having seen how much of a focus that 'the grind' was and how it had consumed myself as well as others- I was inspired to break the chains with the opportunity. Blinded with said opportunity I thought it best to do all that I could to try and benefit from it- regardless of the impact it could have on others and myself. Ultimately- its only when you're barred from the server that you get to see the irony in doing something that threatens your stay on the server to try and make your experience on the server more enjoyable. Looking in from the other side- I can say in confidence that I miss my ability to interact with others on the server and have seen issues arise not only in my absence but because of my absence. Knowing that its nothing short of my own fault that I can't be on to help others is a thought that can sand away at pride over time. Putting pride and my own selfishness to the side- I would like to come back onto the server and with the future in mind; to bank on doing what I can to make right to keep myself in good standing with the community and grow further in it.

 All of this being said- I would like to reiterate that I am not under the impression that my punishment is without merit. Since being banned approximately a month ago; I have held off on posting an appeal in an effort to make amends for what I've done- as I very well understand its severity and the implications that are involved.

Why should you be unbanned?: I'd like to consider myself a part of Diverge's community despite my banishment- one in good standing until the time of my ban. During my time on the server I've clocked well over a month of playtime since starting last summer in 2021. While here I've made it a point to supplement the community- be it through donation, connecting with other members of the community or offering skilled craft- as I've become quite a prolific builder in the server with developments found throughout the server with various applications. I would love to properly conduct myself on the server once more- as I would like to believe that I still have a place in the community.
