Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images):

The Ping family moved from Hong Kong to New York in the mid-1970s. It was a rough journey, lots of travel wore down on the mentality of the brother's Fu & Li Ping, as well as their uncle Chun Ping. While getting their bearings in an unfamiliar city, there was some opportunity for work. The work was arduous, physically demanding, and had horrible pay and benefits. But, the Pings had to do what they needed to do in order to survive. As if working these low-paying and demanding jobs weren’t bad enough, they faced more serious problems. Eventually, they encountered something that made them sick to their stomach. All of the Chinese laborers in New York City faced heavy discrimination, and the Pings were no different. They were considered “Cheap Yellow Labor”. Tired of all of the discrimination and poor conditions, the Ping family had started to organize a laborer’s union in order to negotiate better wages and conditions. At first, it was a rough start, but they were making progress and gaining momentum. For others, the thought of the Chinese laborers banding together to demand something better for themselves was abhorrent. Soon after, things were turning violent. Gatherings were being broken up and people were being assaulted in the streets. This was just the beginning, the Pings, and their union faced unrelenting hate speech, physical violence, and discrimination. This is when Pings’ Union had turned into something more sinister, they had become more violent towards their oppressors and had retaliated against the violence. When the dust had settled, they had defended themselves but were still in desperate need of money. Chun Ping had a distant relative back in mainland China who was involved with the Triad. After a vote, it was agreed that they would use more lucrative methods to make money, relying on other avenues such as smuggling. Fu Ping was outraged by this idea that went against his morals, thus cutting ties and leaving his family behind to become an officer of the law in New York. Li and Chun Ping continued with their plan of being a satellite branch of the Triad overseas in the US. The business had started to get rolling, both legal and illegal, the Pings had opened up a high-end Chinese restaurant as a front for their criminal operations. Their activities ranged anywhere from trafficking guns and drugs from their contacts in China into the US to gang operations. With the huge inflow of cash, Li Ping had started to expand his business, recruiting lots of new members and financing new legal and illegal operations. However, due to the high volume of police and criminal competition in New York, the newly established Red Dragons had decided to move to Miami in search of better business opportunities and to circumvent the local and federal government in New York who had gotten hot on their trail.

The following are the ranks in order, and their tasks explained.

Mountain Master is essentially the Boss of the Red Dragons, in control of all the decision-making. (Boss)

The Deputy Mountain Master is the right-hand man of the Mountain Master and is the second in command of the Red Dragons. (Underboss)

The Vanguard is a senior officer within the organization who is the figurehead in charge of all operations, reporting to the Deputy Mountain Master and Mountain Master. (Operations Officer)

Red Pole is a commander of the Red Dragon’s forces, similar to a gang leader or an enforcer. (Gang Leader)

White Paper Fan is a trusted advisor to the triad who provides legal and financial advice to the Mountain Master. (Most likely to be a BAR certified member of the Triad who has extensive knowledge of the law and how the city works.)

The Incense Master is an important ceremonial officer, who is in charge of the initiation ceremony in which new members are inducted. (The initiation ceremony consists of a sacrificial animal over an alter, which is typically either a goat or lamb. New members are expected to drink a mixture of animal blood in whine while making oaths of their future duties as an initiated member of the triad.)

Straw Sandal is a Liaison Officer who is in charge of maintaining both internal and external relations. (For example, maintaining internal affairs would be something like Human Resources. For external affairs, it would be like a diplomat for the Triad's external relations.)

49ers are the initiated member of the triad. (Soldier)

Red Lanterns are senior members who are not yet initiated. (Senior Associate)

Blue Lanterns are new members who are not yet initiated. (Associate)

Good guy, already RPs great.

Also, holy shit I would watch a movie with the plot of this Triad's backstory.

They obviously put a lot of thought into where the main people involved came from, and between the relationship of Fu Ping, Li Ping and Chun Ping.

I'm looking forward to seeing them RP on the server.

Great backstory, can see that time and effort was put into the app. This clearly isn’t any basic idea.

Also a great guy, always active. Hope to see this faction in Miami!
