What is your motivation/reason for applying?:
In all honesty staff wasn't something I really considered until recent times, I can see that Diverge are in need of reliable staff especially since the Miami relaunch, so I thought I would help out to show my appreciation to the community and do my bit. I've always noticed wrong doings happening within the server, primarily from new players but OG's too and wanted to do my part to help everyone have an enjoyable experience whilst playing here.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?:
I'm very loyal and dedicated to stuff I believe in, this community has giving me countless hours of fun and experiences that I haven't commonly had within other roleplay servers. I've played here for a decent amount of time now and get on with a handful on members within the server. I always do my best to help people out even when I am not obliged too, so they can have the same experiences that I had when first joining. I believe that people should find out information for themselves but if I can help them out along the way, I will.
Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long):
I've only recently got back into gaming in my free time, however I've had plenty of experience beforehand, staffing, developing and managing whole communities. They were primarily based on serious RP servers on Arma 3, including running my own community for a designated period of time but I have served as a moderator on a Dark RP server previously. Despite Dark RP being very laxed in terms of rules, you usually have to deal with a lot of staff related situations and could be considered a vigorous task from an outside perspective. In terms of the name of the server, I couldn't tell you as it was some years ago now but I consider staffing a tool that can be picked up at anytime, once you've understood the basics you can utilise these skills on any server with modifications depending on the communities rules etc.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:
As far as I'm concerned I get along with most people I encounter on the server, I'm not really active on the Diverge discord as much as some members but I always try to leave a good impression with people. I'm actually quite recognisable on the server for wearing my santa hat everyday since I got it (Boom copied me just for reference) and for being 10/10 stud IC and IRL (ask Chato). All in all I haven't made friends with everyone but I try to make my encounters a positive experience and always look forward to making new acquaintances.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:
I would clip the event and put in staff ticket, if no staff are online and I am not currently in a RP related situation, I would switch over to my staff character and deal with the offender.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:
Due the sensitive nature of the situation, I would try to gather as much evidence as possible and contact a higher staff member about the situation in private, as not to cause any issues before the confrontation.
A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?:
Friendship or not personally I enjoy this server and community and if someone I invited wants to cause problems, under the assumption they may have some leeway because they know a staff member. They will be punished to the same extent a normal member. I may even involve another staff team member as to avoid conflict of interest.
