Why should you be unbanned?
Back on the 28th I was suspended from the staff team ,for reasons I still don’t know, but I do presume it was was because of the screenshots that I took of the logs (logs in question being logs of who took out my items out of the bank account) to understand my situation better ooc’ly as previous to the start on the investigation of my character a community manager and another member of the staff team abused their powers by dropping people RPGs and giving max stats to everyone that was on so I thought the fact my items were taken was their doing so that’s why I have checked the logs. Those screenshots were taken out of context and thought to be used IC’ly which isn’t the case as I am fully aware that is against the DV-N rules. Even though I was confused about the temp suspension I deemed fair enough as it wasn’t that harsh of a punishment even though I didn’t know why it was administered. The fact that I was banned however struck me by surprise, especially as I have not been given any additional reasons to be suspected for metagaming/using metagamed info in character. I have never used any information that I have obtained using my staff abilities in character nor did I spread any types of this information with the intention for them to use it in character, therefore I don’t see the validation of my perma ban. I am a very active member of this community and always have tried my best to keep my record clean which it is beside one previous ban, previous to this current one, which I acquired when I was relatively new to the server which I have learnt from. I have never gotten punished for RDM, Minging, NITRP or even metagame for a matter of fact and I never impacted someone’s RP in a bad way by breaking the server rules.
The reasoning for the ban really perplexed me as that would imply that I have used information gained on my staff character on my main character to gain some sort of advantage which I have not done because I have not played on that character since the investigation started or at least played for a significant amount of time. You can even see in logs that I have not used that character for any extended period of time since this whole IC scenario started and I have only interacted with very few people in the past weeks on that certain char. I wouldn't see how it would be considered metagame as the server rules state the following definition "Metagame = Using Out of Character information In-Character" which, again, implies that I used ooc info on a character I haven’t been playing for at least a week.
Also if any information that I have acquired on any other char or even on my staff char that I have told/shown somebody over discord would still be considered ooc and would respect the DV-N rules as of the 3rd rule under "Metagaming rules" which states the following:
"Discord is generally considered OOC unless it is owned by Diverge Networks, and has the channel clearly stated as IC. I.E: [IC]. However to cover the fact that some people may use this to skirt the rules if IC conversations are specified by both parties or is obviously done in IC in DMs"
Another thing I may add about why I think the abuse ban was added was because trying to figure out if the whole IC investigation was metagamed as it has happened in the past with that certain faction I am involved in and was just trying to make sure history doesn't repeat itself and waste time going trough IC procedures just to find out everything was metagamed as that would be a big time waste for everyone involved.
So in conclusion I hope to at least get a chance to see the supposed evidence that lead to me getting banned so I can do my best to show and prove everything is just a big misunderstanding as I have stated previously, since I am/was a staff member I am well aware of the DV-N rule set which I followed word for word and make sure and I am well aware of the metagaming rules so that’s why I haven’t used any ooc info IC which can be proven by the fact I haven’t been on my main character, that is involved with that certain case, for any big periods of time so how could I metagame something on that character even if I was not even playing it.

Although I am not wise of the entire scenario exactly, from the story i've heard, it is clear he has not done any meta gaming or anything of the sort. Every encounter ic and ooc i've had with him has been pleasant, and even though we are friends, he always gives a fair ruling during any staff sit that I have had with him. He is well respected as a fair and role model staff member.

+1 Free my man he did nothing wrong also was a prominent community member that helped and influenced the community in a good way and still wants to play and is differently not worthy of a perma ban of the server compared to some other people that play on the server

Hello Ryan,
You were removed from staff and banned due to obtaining a screenshot on your staff character of both F. Lupo and T. Ocean while they were inside of the NYPD breakroom surrounded by the containers of your faction's illicit items. You sent that screenshot into a chat titled "People v. NYPD" and inquired to use it as evidence against the NYPD for the trial by getting that footage approved as CCTV, because they did not clock in. You prepared metagamed information and showed the location of police to those being charged (including you) to those that would not have access. This includes collaborating with banned user, Adarlardjager, who leaked the warrants to your faction's leadership and you failed to report this despite having knowledge. UA has observed you on different occasions flying over to the NYPD and watching the police converse, as you are not privy to their conversations.
I have recorded the conversation and attach the picture at the end of this post. You failed in your duties to remain unbiased and abused your position as staff to benefit your faction with information they were not privy too. Even if that information was not executed in the way you sought, you still shared and posted information they do not have access too against a faction (NYPD) in which they are embroiled in legal matters. That constitutes metagame.
Your permaban was executed by Diverge Management, and should remain so.
