Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): Cousins Robert and Carmine grew up together as the world around them was in a state of rapid change. Born as first generation Americans to Irish immigrants, their family didn't have much to give them growing up aside from four walls and a roof that sometimes leaked. Robert's father worked for the city as a courier in a law firm while Carmine's father was a union construction worker. Robert's father managed to ultimately provide an education to him and saw to it that he would get a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a full ride from his employer so long as Robert would work for the law firm for 4 years after he passed the bar. Robert would do everything he had to in order to be free and clear of any outstanding debt from his education. Carmine would join the brotherhood of construction workers as did his father before him. The two would get by alright but both desired more.

Carmine would make connections in the union and learn of the Cocaine racket. He'd approach his cousin who was building a law firm for advice, and the two would scheme out the most perfect plan they could. Carmine's connections to a mass distributor combined with Robert's firm to help launder the money would be the perfect front to further enrich the pair. Their organization would be simple. It's design meant to host a small, trusted group. Irish mobs are traditionally loose structured with very simple hierarchy. Boss on top, followed by an underboss, their made men acting as sergeants, then their senior associates, and finally their new associates. The family would be founded ideals of the good of the group, loyalty, and the honor system. Their organization would work almost symbiotically with other groups and families. They provide legal services, trade drugs and small arms. Their structure would be difficult without cooperation with other criminal organizations as their goal is to remain as lowkey as humanly possible. Shootouts in the streets would be far from the intention. Don McCloskey would prefer to never be a name uttered in public, rather just as Robert McCloskey, Esquire cleanly because of the legal side of the business. Their moves would be methodical. Their noses would be as clean as they can make them. Internal quarrels would be stamped out as quickly as external ones and perhaps just as severely. Every move would be thought out several steps ahead as their flagship product and most useful weapon would be information and it's strategic use and trade. We're looking to run a C racket with a W subracket. This is the beginning of the McCloskey Family.

RE: The McCloskey Family - CharlesSKS - 11-27-2022

-1 Faction Leader is very immature when it comes to situations not going his way, and has shown this with his low playtime and lashing out towards people OOCly when it comes to IC situations. Along with this, the current members of this new faction have been caught abusing the NPC Vendors of criminal factions on other characters and transferring those items and money to their new ones that will be in this faction. They have admitted to doing this in order to gain funds, rather than starting off as a district, making it on their own, or asking players/factions for loans.
