Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images):
Archangel Security was founded on July 4th, 1973 by the current Chief Executive Officer: Gabriel Ignis-Lucis and grew to an international organization at an extremely quick pace. However, the means to get there were both illegitimate and illegal.
At the age of eighteen, Gabriel received a tremendous stroke of luck and came across a suitcase that was filled with evidence recounting countless crimes committed by a certain billionaire: Johann Warsach, a hotel mogul who runs the largest hotel conglomerate in the world. Johann got to where he is through scandals, blackmail, and any other illegitimate business tactic he could use to advance himself. Despite getting rid of a majority of leads tying the illegal activities to him, there were still trails leading back to him, evidence which a competitor in the hotel market collected to throw the large hotel conglomerate under. Unfortunately for the competition, Johann caught wind of this action and ordered a hit crew to silence them. The hit squad, however, did not collect the evidence after silencing them. This critical error would be the biggest mistake made as it would become the shackle around Johann’s neck.
Gabriel took advantage of the opportunity that presented itself and anonymously blackmailed Johann Warsach into backing and funding the creation of a new company: Archangel Security, a private security corporation. The headquarters of the newly born company was placed in the desolate state of Wyoming as it would give the new company a lot of room to move around freely without intervention from competition. Archangel Security recruited a lot of ex-Special Forces and ex-SWAT to become private security contractors as it would reduce the amount of money it cost to train these individuals whilst maintaining a certain degree of professionalism.
However, as expected when starting a brand new company, regardless where you establish it and how you manage it, you will always have competition. So Gabriel utilized Johann Warsach and established a multitude of connections through him and made many trustworthy business partners which assisted in growing Archangel Security at an extremely fast rate.
Throughout the 1970s and into the early 1980s, Archangel Security grew to an international scale, conducting operations in both Eastern Asia and Western Europe as one of the best private security contractors in the world, having close to no shortage of clientele.
The type of clients Archangel Security provided its services to were diverse, from the extremely wealthy to the average person who is able to afford Archangel Security’s service.
Despite the immense success as a private security contractor, the annual profits began to stagnate and Archangel Security's growth came to a near halt. In order to generate enough funds to grow to a global scale, Gabriel decided to expand the business and established a small arms dealing business under the Archangel Security brand in 1982.
Within a year of establishing the small arms dealing business, Archangel Security nearly doubled the amount of profits that they received the year prior. However, this was not enough to grow the company to a global scale, so Gabriel decided to tap into one of the biggest money making markets in the world: the trafficking of illegal narcotics.
Early in 1984, Archangel Security began to produce and supply Methamphetamine to the criminal underworld. This move was a genius one as Archangel Security's annual profits broke record numbers, and garnered close to ten times more than what the company earned in 1982.
The large influx of cash the company was raking in was bound to look extremely suspicious, so to cover-up the massive amount of money the company was receiving from it's drug trafficking operation, it was marked as donation money being given from an exceedingly generous anonymous investor by having an off-shore account under a fake alias transfer the funds to the corporate account in steady intervals as to ward off any suspicion of illegal activity.
In light of the great success, by 1985 and early 1986 Archangel Security began to use its wealth to fund, perpetrate, and perpetuate wars on a global scale. These wars ranged from small civil wars to large scale conflicts between nations. Conflicts were an excellent money generator for Archangel Security as the high demand for arms and performance enhancing narcotics from both sides of the conflict would be at an all time high as they desperately attempted to get an advantage over its enemy.
Currently, Archangel Security is providing its services to the Mujahideen Resistance as they fight against the Soviet aggressors in the Middle East. The individual who apparently contracted Archangel Security was none other than Osama Bin Laden; who currently runs a construction company that is actively aiding the Resistance.
Of course, Archangel Security didn't just solicit one side of the conflict, they solicited both sides as they would garner more money the longer a conflict raged on for. Archangel Security remained anonymous to ensure that they were never caught soliciting both sides as the conflict would turn unto the company.
A famous example of this is the ongoing Iran-Iraq war. Military Leaders on both the Iranian and Iraqi side were actively looking for any way they could gain the upperhand, and their sights fell upon Archangel Security. Archangel Security, of course, agreed to assist both the Iranians and Iraqis from the shadows and both nations were none the wiser to Archangel Security’s true agenda.
By 1986, Gabriel was now the leader of a multi-million corporation, except he was not satisfied yet. Sometime during the third quarter of the 1986 year, Gabriel moved Archangel Security's headquarters to the heart of the United States, the city of New York. This would enable Archangel Security access to the Atlantic Ocean which would grow their drug trafficking operation and arms dealing business by nearly tenfold.
A competitive force is about to arrive on the streets of New York.
Note: Archangel Security will be a faction that actively interacts with the other factions on the server by providing “gun for hire” services to any faction that wishes to solicit services from Archangel Security. In the event that any faction goes to war, Archangel Security will remain neutral as to provide no bias towards any specific faction as it would go against the company’s backstory of playing both sides of the conflict.
All factions and individuals will be able to hire Archangel Security for their services, however, they will not act as an auxiliary military force in any capacity as Archangel Security is a Private Security Corporation, not a Private Military Contractor.
Faction members that are not in leadership positions and are actively serving either an individual or faction in a protective capacity will be required to follow a uniform policy to be easily identifiable by the New York Police Department to avoid any unnecessary conflicts that may arise as the faction members fulfill their duties as Private Security Contractors.
