Reason for ban: Failure to follow staff instruction, Mic Spam
Length of ban: Three days
Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Dispute
Why should you be unbanned? Essentially what happened was this parade was being held and there were police checkpoints placed to block off little Italy. I had a weapon on me at the time so I used a shortcutt and hopped a fence in order to cheat my way into the checkpoint. Belle then picked me up and told me to stop, I asked her why and she didn't give me an exact reason. Callum showed up after that and told me to stop as well, I asked for a reason and they refused to give me one, they just told me to stop crossing the fence. The thing is, the fence is an in game part of the map and me hopping over it is an in character action. In my personal opinion, the staff shouldn't have interfered with me in the first place. I will have to admit I was angry and mouthed off a little bit, but I'll tell you why. When you're a staff member, you have a certain amount of power over the average player. There should be an accountability factor tied into this, staff shouldn't be allowed to regulate who they want whenever they want for whatever reason, I believed at the time, that there was no valid reason as to why they were doing what they were doing. I still believe this, I understand they wanted to set up an event for the server, and that's all fine and dandy, but they blocked off a whole section of the map, and only allowed you to access said part through rping with police. Well what if I didn't want to role play with the cops, what if I had a gun on me, which I did, and I couldn't access the checkpoint; which I couldn't. Also to add ontop of that, neither Callum nor Belle could state the specific rule I was breaking which caused them to interfere with my role play in the first place. They just said I was mic spamming and not following staff instruction, which may have been true, but a three day ban for what? I also was told that an individual was kicked for the same exact reason I was banned. That's all I have to say, thank you for your time.

Okay bud, I've updated your ban to a day, but it still doesn't mean you can try to get into event areas which are shut off wiles building and not listen to staff, there was sign's everywhere say that its shut for an event.
I Hope wiles you are off for a bit you have a good look over the rules to try and get familiar with them.
I hope to see you back on ready to RP once more.

+1 to Unban. There were several players who were KICKED key word KICKED for committing the same offense Bob committed, and not banned for 3 days. The reduction to one day is still overkill in my opinion, should've just been a kick or an hour ban at most.
