Back story:
The Lombardo Family
The Lombardo family originated from eastern Italy in a medium sized city called Pescara. (late 1830’s). Angelo Lombardo and Bella Lombardo are the parents of Dan Lombardo and Tony Lombardo. The Lombardo family is a long line of mechanics they worked in many factories manufacturing automobile parts saving every penny they possibly could. They were by no means wealthy they spent a good 10 years saving every penny to eventually open a mechanic shop about 15 minutes from there previous work place. They eventually got the funds to purchase the small 1 garage 1 office area building. Angelo and Bella were now hoping for brighter days and to maybe even send there two sons to America for a better life an escape from the small city and to prevent the mafia life style. Unfortunately Angelo suffered a heart attack at the age of 53 and died leaving Bella to care for Dan and tony she by no means could do mechanic work and the boys were only 14. She sold the property and gathered what little money they had and sent the boys to America to live with there uncle Francisco. Now Francisco was an underboss for the Gambino family (1839) he raised the boys for the next 10 years and taught them the way of the mafia carry your self as business men and do your dirty work on the low. The boys soon became wealthy full time members of the Gambino Mafia. There uncle Francisco was unfortunately assassinated in 1846 leaving the two men devastated they didn’t know what to do there only other family member in America was now dead leaving there positions in the mafia vulnerable. They decided it would be best to leave the Gambino family to prevent there for seen death and to start there own family the Lombardo Family. Although they weren’t mechanics and knew nothing about cars they wanted to become mechanics and open a mechanic shop to operate out of like there uncle taught them and to carry on there fathers legacy. Tony went to learn how to be a mechanic while Dan spent time forming the mafia. By 1857 the two Lombardo brothers were now operating out of a small mechanic shop in New York and running a small crime family in the back involved in gun smuggling and the dealing of cocaine. they were rising to power fast and making more money than they knew what to do with all the while hiding there secret life from the cops. Dan felt pity for his mother and started sending large amounts of money to her in Italy. Dan and Tony currently reside in New York running a small mechanic shop customizing cars, changing paint jobs you name it they can do it all the while running there crime family. (1984).

too many Italian crime families already
The story is bland and just feels like a normal "started from the dirt" sob story. You need something to set you apart from all the other crime factions that happen to be Italian. What sets you apart from all the other crime factions that harbor tons of Italian American racketeers? There needs to be something that sets you apart from the other crime factions. If you're only going to traffick cocaine and run a car business it only makes you similar to all the other mafias that offer little to no RP experience and just sit around their hotel room outside doing absolutely nothing until they get paid or AFK all day. Even now I do not see RP experience coming from the current active factions who just stand around outside their business doing absolutely nothing and talking trash to those who walk by in a token Italian American accent. I don't mean any offense but I just find the concept of this faction too bland, too cookie-cutter for it to come to fruition. For your labor to bear fruit, you must set yourself apart by actively engaging in RP situations that don't exactly bring you any financial gain, you gotta make yourself look like real tough shit first before first than anything. You gotta have a fair amount of material to work with as well and not just a sob story. Do something an actual crime family would do. Have deeper connections with the government, other mafias, get risky, start REAL trouble, MAKE people wanna join you instead of asking to recruit people. Make yourself look like a prestigious faction. Once you do get a faction approved try encouraging group events, shit that makes you look good, ya know? But aside from that, that's all the constructive criticism I've got.
