Home Computers - Fisher - 05-22-2023
During the late 1980's, home computers became a commonplace item, and access to the internet had been around since 1983. What I suggest is that we add an expensive(3-10K) computer that can be placed down and used to communicate with other people who have PCs on the server. Other functions such as accessing official government websites would be possible, and it would bring back the old market pagers in a new, and roleplayable form, allowing criminal groups to make their own websites and sell/coordinate deals. Police would be able to access these underground markets and it adds a different risk other than getting robbed through rumour, and a risk of police busts. A home computer would fill the void that the pager cannot completely fill, and add more value to RP.
