Why should you be unbanned?:
I would like to start off my appeal by saying that it has been some time since I got banned (over a year now) and I have taken a long break from playing games in order to help benefit my mental health and personal relationships. During the time of my ban, I was in a very volatile and unstable mindset due to a lot of stress put onto me in life. I am not ashamed to admit that I allowed myself to filter out my frustration on games, with Diverge being one of those places at the time. I allowed previous players on the server to agitate me until I regrettably decided to do something that would get me permanently banned from the server I played on since release. I have shared a lot of good memories with a lot of good people on Diverge and I deeply regret making the decision I did over a year ago. I apologize to any players that were killed during the RDM that I will post a video of, not to glorify the actions I did, but to show complete transparency on my appeal. I will not downplay what I did nor try to justify it, as there is no justification for the childish action I took out of anger unrelated to the people RDMed.
After recently rejoining the Gambino discord to reunite with old friends after a long time being away from gaming, I really would like to have a second chance to be a part of this community. Over my time of playing on several characters, I accomplished a lot in roleplay. I served the Gambino family for years even prior to joining Diverge, I started Murder Inc. and ran it until its unfortunate end due to financial turmoil, and pressed a lot of legitimate roleplaying money opportunities such as fishing. I even had a term as a Mayor that I used to desperately try to reform the gun laws at the time. These are just some of the examples I can remember from all of this time, there are probably a lot more veteran community members may remember. All of this is said to show that I didn't join Diverge just to ruin other's experiences or RDM frequently, I truly enjoyed roleplaying with the community and creating events in the city. I wouldn't have donated to the server if I didn't realize it was going to be an enjoyable one that would be around for a long, long time. I even donated for another player I was friends with, you should be able to confirm this from my forum account. Diverge has a truly unique roleplay experience that is a needle in the haystack that is GMod, I really don't want to lose that needle.
Pendred, Canadian, I'm not sure if you even remember me or the circumstances leading up to my ban, but I truly am sorry and am always free on discord for a chat if you want to discuss anything further. Even if this ban appeal is denied, I hope there is no hard feelings from this situation and I apologize profusely for any and all headaches I may have caused your staff team. -Redrum

I’m going to be completely honest, I think what Gent did was a shitty thing to do and it was kind of a schizo moment, but he is a very good role player and I genuinely believe that he’ll stay true to his word if he gets unbanned. A year is a long time to reflect and I think he deserves another chance.
