Reason for ban: Metagame / LTAP

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): My computer black screened after being killed and my drivers needed to be reset. By the time I got back on to start Garry's Mod back up, I was informed I was banned for a week for "Metagame/LTAP".
Why should you be unbanned?: Because I'm unsure why I was banned for metagame or LTAP? The moderator who banned me did not pull me into a sit and did not explain why I was being punished. My computer black screened after being killed, where I had to restart and reinstall drivers. Beyond that, I am told the metagaming charge had no proof and the moderator who banned me did not show any form of evidence against me besides an accusation by the supposed victim. I was checking on a property of mine and found two trespassers, one who immediately yelled RUN, and another tried to kill me after I pulled my gun out. I was checking on a property and got killed, crashed, had to reinstall drivers before logging back in, and saw I was banned for "Metagame/LTAP". If the situation in question needs to be further elaborated on then let's have that sit down and discussion. I do have a clip from my perspective just before my PC shut down. I've spent much time, effort, and donations on supporting this server. I do not have a record and have not been in trouble in the past, I'm most confused why I've been banned for a week while I was not even online and re-installing my drivers, with no explanation in sight. Hi, I was the moderator who banned you. So, you were banned for metagame due to killing an individual who had taken your friend captive. They were in a location where it is unlikely you would have been able to know where they were without using OOC knowledge ICly. I would not have banned you if that was the only "proof" i had. I asked your friend, the guy being mugged, if he had mentioned to you OOCly that the mugging was happening to which he replied saying that you were in a discord call or maybe a shared server and he had mentioned he was being mugged. That alone was enough for me to confidently say that you would not have found the situation without that information being relayed through OOC means. Further, the moment you died, the ticket was made, and I had teleported to the Hospital where you spawned with the individual you killed. He pointed you out and as I was about to get your steam ID you disconnected. If you are claiming that your computer black screened, I am not sure what you want me to say about that. I did not see any indications that there was any bug or malfunction that caused you to disconnect. I will post the log here just for your understanding as well.
I do not feel that this ban was unwarranted, nor do I feel that I acted irrationally in imposing the ban at the level I did. At this point, based on everything I have seen, and I am sure UA will look more into it, you seem to be skewing the reality of the situation.

Hello, I understand where you are coming from and why you acted upon it the way you did. However, I feel as if you are misunderstanding my point of view and are trying to paint me as the suspect in a situation where I had no intention of. First, the person in question that was being mugged was in a public VC channel with 10 other people including me. I have witnesses that may vouch that there was no metagaming done in that voice chat. So, simply sharing a Discord server or being in a public call with somebody should not be considered sufficient proof of metagame. The burden of proof is on you and you should have picture or eyewitness evidence of an actual metagame. The individual being mugged had not relayed to me he was being mugged, and my intention of going to that spot was not to metagame a mug. The double wareheouse is one of my owned properties and as such, I routinely check it for people squatting or growing drugs. The two individuals who ran out as I walked in were not employees, one clearly said "RUN" over his microphone, whereas the other individual pulled a gun and tried to kill me. I'm still confused on where the metagame part comes into this, at this point I feel as if you are seriously trying to coerce me into this ban with false reasoning.
Regarding my computer malfunctioning, I'm not sure how to prove it or tell you it happened. The others in the public discord VC we were in all night had seen me crash twice prior and once again afterwards. If you'd like to double check and ask them, I will happily oblige and provide you names. Again, the burden of proof lays on you and I have not seen a good piece of evidence yet to justify this unwarranted rash ban. I certainly do hope UA will look more into it, as I definitely feel I am being unfairly punished. Thanks for your response.

While it is highly unlikely that being in a VC and no metagame happening, this is your first offense. The LTAP/RP does appear a user disconnect and with that being said, the ban will be reduced to 48 hours.
