Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I've been told by multiple people that if someone threatens your life you can kill them. so when this white shirt came up to me started harrasing me and making threats to my life I thought I was fully in my right to kill him. It has only become aware to me after the fact the difference between an "idle threat" and an "active" one. even so its pretty clear this white shirt just wanted to cause problems on the server, in the admin room he was non stop being a dick and just wanted to see me punished as long as possible for this simple mistake.
Why should you be unbanned? I expressed to the individual I was sorry for the false kill because of my misunderstanding of the rules, I know now the difference in threats and how to properly deal with the situation in RP I should've just punched him or started a fight to see how he reacts rather then just capping him with my ranger. I'm not a minge on the server and I never intend to falsely RP this really was just a honest mistake from me I don't believe a full day ban is just for someone not understanding the small difference of an active and idle threat. either way im still sorry for the individual for not acting appropriately in an RP situation. thats is my fault and wont happen again.

Thank you for providing me with your perspective.
When I initially made contact with the individual reporting you, I found you as the culprit for the alleged RDM. After further investigation as well as you admitting you killed him over a verbal argument I deemed that a rule break had occurred. I then proceeded to check your record and found a previous 3-hour RDM ban as well as a somewhat recent note for RDM as well (06/23/2023). Although you explained to me that you did not fully understand the rule, it is not an excuse to break a rule you have received punishment for in the past. You should have done your due diligence and not have broken the rule. I believe that a 24-hour ban was low enough and reasonable enough to be the punishment for this situation.
