Organization Backstory (Min. of 150+ Words): The Smirnov Family was founded in the mid 1950s when the original founder, Dimitri Smirnov, decided to make a street gang. He wasn’t able to get any members at all, and so he relied on his siblings to join him. One of them is named Adrian Smirnov, who would be the right hand man of Dimitri until he graduated college. Dimitri would travel around the world with his father, settling down in New York and renting an apartment downtown. This is where Dimitri would begin establishing his territory, beating anyone who would attempt to even speak to him. His siblings decided to leave the gang as they saw how violent Dimitri was, and they decided to move back to Eastern Europe to live with their divorced mother.
Fast forward to 1969, Dimitri is 19 years old and continued to express his life for criminality. He began beating people to a pulp, pickpocketing others, etc. One day, he entered the wrong territory and was almost shot in by a rival street gang, so he grew paranoid that the gang was after him and would mainly stay around his territory, locking himself in a room of sort.
Fast forward to the present, 1984, Dimitri is now 33 years old and found new methods of recruitment. The only people he would recruit are Russians and Americans, and sometimes hiring his older relatives. Dimitri’s gang continued to terrorize those in his neighborhood and got his gang involved in the drug business.
Dimitri never allies with any other street gang and would kill anyone who asked him to affiliate with them. This is because he is worried that other rival gangs will backstab him and kill him, taking all of his money and destroying his gang.
There are high ranks in the gang but barely any of the members respect them properly. The only people who truly respect the high ranks are new recruits or soldiers. Dimitri is the only one who has high authority, and whoever would disobey him would either get exiled or murdered by him personally.
