Why should you be unbanned?: Was banned for Metagame POx3. One of my metagame POs is from nearly a year and a half ago unsure if they expire. I was banned, according to the banning staff (Yuki), for the following: 1. Getting called in game via discord. 2. Knowing the charges before reaching my client. 3. Being in a VC with my client. As discussed, getting called in game VIA discord is allowed for lawyers. For knowing the charges, I was told the charges in game by a detective (https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/...E0OTc1ODgs). The suspicion of metagame arises when in the interrogation room, I explain to the detective that "Possession of illegal narcotics and Possession of illegal narcotics with intent to distribute does not stack." According to the banning staff member, I was not told "Possession of illegal narcotics with intent to distribute" but my client was in his holding cell. Instead of hard evidence, the banning staff member suspected I metagamed this information, instead of logically thinking that "intent to distribute (said by the detective in the above clip)" is NOT A CHARGE! I have been a lawyer on here for a little under three years, and as of recently have been in the NYPD several times for drug related crimes. I know the penal code fairly well, especially the drug section. So, I got banned for translating a detectives false charge into an actual charge, because coincidentally, it was said to my client previously. The only actual evidence the banning staff member has is that I was in a VC with my client. The only reason I even got in VC with him was to let him know how soon I'd be there, but as soon as I joined I knew something was wrong. I really wanted to avoid saying this, but he was choking on tears. I moved him, myself, and his boss into a private VC to make sure he was OK, and as I did the two detectives (who are also UA), joined the VC to make sure we weren't metagaming. I disconnected them for the same reason I had moved the client into a private VC. My client is a kid, I don't know his age, but I'd guess anywhere between 10-13. By no means do I want him to fucking cry over a video game, so I moved him to a private area to make sure he was doing fine, which he wasn't. He was extremely panicked, and frustrated.
So, instead of gathering any actual evidence of me metagaming, the banning staff had made up his mind even before moving me into the sit, observing my POs and deciding I was to be banned. The only evidence the banning staff has that I had metagamed is pure coincidence and a single IMAGE of me sharing a VC with the kid. This ban is based off of pure speculation, and I assume I am an easy target for a metagame ban due to my POs. The banning staff member even stated in a previous appeal that the logical jump from "intent to distribute" to "possession of illegal narcotics with intent to distribute" was completely valid. During the sit, the banning staff also claimed he was clipping the sit, and using that as evidence as well, as he was nitpicking what I was saying during the sit to validate his false ban. What I ask from UA is, what am I actually banned for? From my understanding, its all falsehoods and suspicions.
