Long Answer
Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 5 Sentences Minimum.
What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I constantly whine about needing staff. I should probably just try to change it and get another staff in, get things going, that sort of thing. I have been thinking about applying for a long time and decided to do it once a friend said sure to me asking if I should apply, and I think I could benefit the server through staffing. I don't do much active PLAYING of the server, as all my characters are law oriented, so staffing would also give me something to do. I guess the application is a mix of wanting to help out and not having much to do.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: This is going to sound very generic. I have a lot of staffing experience and have held a variety of positions on the server and so I have a good feeling for both staffing and the culture of the server. I've known a lot of the people here for forever and so they know I can do the job, too. I may not have the most play time (some people have CRAZY amounts of play time) or have the most experience in criminal high command positions, but I make up for it in fairness and activity within the community. I'm no stand-out candidate superstar, but I am capable.
Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I was a moderator on icefuse MRP some years ago for about 5 months, as well as a mod on a variety of 42rp servers for a variety of time periods (usually around 5-6 months)
Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I was banned once about a year ago for RDM x1.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I'd say I'm fairly well known, but my reputation depends on who you ask pretty distinctly. I would say the people that have consistently talked to me the longest at least somewhat like me and think I'm a fair guy to deal with. I've known a lot of people on diverge for nearing on 5 years, and they have the opinions they have.
Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: n/a

Problem Solving
Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.
Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Assuming I am simply WITNESSING the RDM, I quickly clip the encounter and go on duty, then pull the individual or accept the ticket if a ticket is immediately made then pull the individual and handle the sit as a normal RDM sit.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: It really does depend on how "too noticeable" is defined, but if it is actual meaningful abuse (that affects the experience of others), I collect a variety of evidence and then privately ask the staff member to stop what they are doing. If they deny it or say no, I present the footage both to them and to a higher staff member than them and let it be dealt with.
A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?: I don't take the ticket, and ask for someone else to take it instead, explaining my relationship with the person. If nobody is available, I accept the ticket with a warning to all parties that I know this person and have known them for a long time, as a form of disclaimer. It isn't proper for me to be policing my friends, especially if it is somehow weighing on me that this may affect my friendship with them. It causes a bias, and an inevitable accusation of bias, and just isn't worth it.
