What is your motivation/reason for applying?:
My main motivation is as expected to enforce the rules of the server and to be able to assist and help any members of the community. I have wanted to join the staff team for a while having befriended some of the staff and it is very welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. I also just have a general passion for helping people and I feel like given this position I would be able to pursue that. I enjoy working in a team environment and learning from my peers and teaching my peers. I feel like seeing the server and roleplay from a staff point of view will be able to help me improve my roleplay outside of being staff. I would like to use my spare time on the server more productively and help towards making the server run more smoothly. *
Why should you be considered over other candidates?:
There are a few main points that I feel make me a good candidate. One of these is my past experiences with moderation/staffing in general, not just limited to gmod. I can also put in a lot of time considering the amount of free time I have. I always push myself to expand my understanding and knowledge of any subject, and because of this, I would be able to catch on (with the help of my peers) to how the staff team runs the server. I'm also very flexible with the hours I can staff, I have noticed with the hours I am on the may be only one staff member and I could imagine how stressful trying to moderate the server alone is. I can change my sleep schedule based on the time staff members are needed. I am good at adapting to situations.*

I was banned for LTARP recently but I can not recall why this was, I am going to work on getting this appealed. I have also been warned twice for fail mug, my first was in my first couple of days playing and my second was a couple of weeks ago.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:
I would not say that I am very well known but by the people that do know me I have a very positive reputation. I believe that I am well-liked by the members that know me due to me helping them in rp situations and also being a friend to many of the outside of Diverge. I always greet people on the streets of the server and try to be as friendly as possible. *

Problem Solving
Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.
Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:
That would depend on the situation. If I was rdmed I would clip it and take it to a sit as normal but if I saw someone blatantly MRDMING I would go on duty and deal with it accordingly as long as I was not involved in the situation and was not in an active RP situation.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:
I would document and clip the situations and put it forward to a higher, this could be through the forums or Discord. If they were on an equal rank as me I would tell them what they are doing is wrong and urge them to stop before reporting them.
A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?:
I strongly believe that you should not treat your friends differently. however, if it was a very small incident that does not affect the player base and was not reported by another player (eg. prop abusing, mic spamming) I would give them one and only one very stern warning and remind them of the rules. If it happens again I would punish them accordingly. If it was something that affects the player base (eg. rdm, nlr, meta) I would punish them no matter my relationship with that person.
