In some sense, I am proud to read that both of you believe that the PDF that was created by me was stolen/plagiarized. Please see the attached screenshots of my Adobe Indesign where the document was created. But first things first: My intention is to introduce an actual real-life existing corporation into the roleplay environment of Southside!

Before I'll elaborate on that; let's get back to the document. Considering my intention, I simply took the text from Chevron and implemented it into the document. Because honestly, why would I re-write history if it has already been told by the corporation I wish to roleplay as. And yes, the images are also used by Chevron. But I have designed and crafted this document in close correspondence/detail with the branding of Chevron to give it a realistic feel. And well, I think I achieved that quite well. However, as I actually used to work at an advertisement agency (henceforth my knowledge in InDesign); I am not claiming that the Chevron Corporation and/or their (graphical) assets used in the documents are made or manufactured solely by myself. Nor am I claiming to be the owner of it, or hold rights on the intellectual property of it.

And yes, there is something fair to see that this is not creative... At the moment. Let's be fair; if someone were to roleplay as McDonald's or set up a company to do so, I don't believe many people would have a problem with it. And better yet, I think people will see the fun of it and will more or less enjoy it. And this is due to the roleplay that is being created. And perhaps I should have been a lot more clear on my intention as stated earlier. But I am convinced that we all could use a highly professional, well-organized oil company that will offer more than just oil. As stated on page 8 and in the description in the first post; I want to offer more than just oil. I actually want to give (new) players an option to be employed in a company that is not just revolved around crime and has everything crime-related. As mentioned in the background story, my investment company has acquired enough shares to move Chevron's HQ to New York and to become impactful and meaningful for everyone. 

I have been able to introduce a working and honest stock market into Southside. And I know for an actual fact that despite my 'low' playing time on the server, I can bring something refreshing, new, and hopefully enjoyable for all of you. 


But well, we'll see how this thread will go and if I'll gain more support for it or not. Anyway, thanks for your comments and your opinion/statement of course!

+1 Mr. McCawly is a very responsible man when it comes to law, i would love to see this become an actual faction.

+1. Has always roleplayed as a business-man with legitimate legal businesses. Have had many pleasant interactions with Danny over the course of 2-3 months.
Despite the "low" playtime, I think he has enough experience within the server and running businesses to form a successful oil faction.
And an oil faction is definitely needed on the server at this point in time.

We aim to establish to be the most well-organized oil company with a new establishment in New York. An existing multinational has its eyes on New York to set up its headquarters in New York. An investment firm by the name of Lehmann Investments acquired the necessary amount of shares to become one of the chair members of the Chevron Corporation. With myself knowing how hard it can be to start from the ground up, we want to encourage the average 'Joe' to work hard and to make the American Dream an actual fact. With a plethora of job opportunities and career options within the Chevron Corporation; we aim for only the best. Therefore, we have made this document to tell our story and deliver our promises to New  York and the people once we have been able to achieve a position within New York to only work harder for even more greatness.
