Reason for PK: Disrespect

Why should you be unPK'd?: Didn't mean any disrespect to Mr. Cassano let alone didn't even know my character could die permamently. Been playing for a couple weeks now but I'm still kind of a noob, I was barely getting to know what actually was being in a faction. Also I really enjoy the experience of RP'ing with that crew, so I'm kind of bummed that the first time I actually meet Mr. Bossman himself I got off on the wrong foot with him becuase his henchman thought I sounded like I was smiling.
Highlights of what resulted after "Ended up getting grounded and put in a corner" "Mr. Cassanos henchman misunderstood that I was trying to tell him that I don't think this is funny bussiness several times.." "I made the mistake of yawning to show I was not smiling or laughing which resulted in Mr. Cassano doing the perma kill"

There are several underlying reasons as to why you were perma killed. As a member of the community you accept the risk that the top of a faction has the right to get rid of you if he deems it reasonable and you'll have no knowledge of it or the exact reason why. However on top of that Staff needs to approve it before you are pk active, in this case reasons were submitted to staff and the they believed it was justified enough to approve the pk. If you disagree with the result that is on you, no one is preventing you from making another character and continuing to hop on the game, but you will not be allowed in the faction that pked you. Move on and learn from this experience.

Yes of course that's how I took it, I already created a new character and everything.  I understand how the whole situation played out as well as that it requires prior admin approval. As you can see I did not say I was done playing the game, so I'll catch y'all around in another flesh and bone. It shouldn't bother you that I'm just trying to appeal my character.

Hi renni,

I was the staff member that oversaw your PK. I approved this PK as I felt as though it met the requirements, the reason I was provided was disrespect of a high commanding member of the faction, as you've touched on in your appeal.

As Smokey stated, by joining a faction you are "giving your life away" so to speak and run the risk of being PK'd at the faction leaders discretion. See below guideline as per the PK rules found here: https://divergenet.works/forums/showthread.php?tid=4

When joining a criminal faction all users understand and partake in the risk of being PK'ed as is the nature of being a criminal. Members of a faction who break their IC code of conduct or run risk to the faction can be ordered killed by the faction leader.

I still feel as though this is a justified PK, and please take this as a learning experience. Additonally, glad to hear you've created a new character and are living a new life in the city. Hope to see you around New York!
