Longer sentence's if taken to court

So basically my suggestion comes from since there is no minge clause anyone that gets arrested for the simplest of crimes called for a lawyer refuses the plea deal and forces us to take it to court, what this does is just put officers off so they just get let go on a "warning". This ruins RP. My suggestion to make all this make a bit more sense would be to keep the jail times the same for if they sign the plea deal - 1 year = 1 minute, but then change the length of time you get put away if you get sentenced in a court case, for example, 1year = 1day meaning they can go on their char for that specified amount of time as taking someone to court for a 10 minute jail time when it can take up to a week before you get put in front of a judge just makes no sense and makes the repercussions for the crimes harsher which I believe will bring some better RP into no only the NYPD and FBI but to the mafia's too as they have to actually think about if they should do something, and look at what could happen if you got caught if the outcome outweighs the repercussions. The court cases would also improve as there are actual consequences to losing. 

Or if you are boring just add back the minge clause

Irl small crime and sometimes larger ones have the same thing happen. If you get a ticket or a misdemeanor and try to take it to court the cops will just not show up

RP isn't ruined because people want to take things to court, RP is ruined by PD refusing to go to court and just letting people go, and this is already sort of a thing anyway, PD just add like 50 sentences before you get to a court case. I'm also pretty sure there's a minimum sentence to actually go to court, like you couldn't go for a 5 minute misdemeanor

This just seems like a suggestion that PD want to be cunts more, just fix PD by actually doing court cases and not letting people go rather than ruin the rest of the players time on the server because of you're incompetence.

If the PD took cases to court when Lawyers threaten to goto court, you'd find that more people would actually take plea deals and this mention of the minge clause, considering the amount of officers who would just throw someone in just because of the fact a person was swearing at them or insulting them, isn't really good rp. If you think they were minging you can staff or if you were actually read what the minge clause does you can also contact a judge to do it.
