Organization Backstory: The very beginning of this triad originates in Shanghai, China. The boss of the Golden Lotus Triad, Mr. Tsui wanted to expand his criminal underworld to the streets of New York with the rapidly expanding Chinese population emigrating to Chinatown, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to disguise his captain's emigration to the city and for him to create a network of connections inside of the United States of America. The captain chosen by Tsui was named Zhaohui Qian, a respectable member of the triad, who had been a member since the age of fifteen. He took with him three other men and boarded a flight to the JFK International Airport in Queens.
Once they landed, the group started off by getting properly set up in the city of Manhattan, they purchased a small laundromat, using it as a legal front for their heroin trafficking racket, which was closely connected to their main branch in Shanghai, selling the purest heroin directly from Chinese poppies. Soon, however, the police busted one of their three labs in Brooklyn, and it was only a matter of time until they connected the dots to Zhaohui and his underlings. To escape from the authorities of Manhattan, the group drove to Southside, a sub-district nestled inside of Brooklyn. Here, Zhaohui made friends with influential figures such as Daquan Jaxon, and other notable businessmen and criminals. With his new-found connections, his fairly large crew, and his sheer will; Zhaohui Qian was determined to make it big in the city, becoming the most respected and feared boss in Southside, while making a name for the asian culture during his rise.
