Organization Backstory:
Founded after the defeat of Japan in September, 1945, after the Emperor Hirohito had surrendered to the American forces, putting an end to Japanese involvement of WW2 and demilitarization, there had been those that lingered amongst his peoples that had refused the idea or notion of surrender, and instead sought the glory of Nippon, as well as its peoples to expand an empire as their ancestors had centuries ago. As the nation seemed to surrender meekly, there were always those that lingered within the shadows, and those that held grudges that were far too great, and had influences still powerful in the underground branch of government. Enter in Sanzensekai. The Three Thousand Worlds.
Finding roots as weapons manufacturers as well as influencers in naval and aerial production during the period of war, there were none so fervent and wealthy as they when the war had dragged on, and saw hideous resentment to the idea of seeing their power and influence disbanded from the time of peace. Making forces made up of Japanese soldiers, local militia, subjugated Yakuza, as well as the descendants of these peoples, they had formed a criminal underground network that had worked fervently to hide the remnants of war’s spoils. They had kept the Arisaka rifles, the Nambu Pistols, the type 99 Sniper Rifles, and other relics of their warfare, but more importantly, their grudge and imperialist dream.
Subjugating and or allying with other criminal organizations in the underground, and eventually settling with the Opium trade of the Silk Road, they would eventually settle in the United States in the major economic settlement of New York. While the original members of the Sanzensekai may be old, and the original fervor different, the newer members are led by a traditionalist by the name of Takeda Shingen, of the old and respected family, as well as the appointed general Kage Hinamitsu. Looking to build considerable economic power and study the economic systems of the United States, they look to build influence and power to smuggle and bring their weapons from their homeland, as well as to one day build their own empire. If not in the glory of the Emperor and their nation, then for themselves.
Styling themselves similar to the Japanese style of Yakuza rankings, they are different in the sense that they are not a brotherhood. They are a group that act similarly to a military organization in terms of discipline, and the words of the Oyabun are absolute. Little tolerance for disobedience within their own rankings. If going by archaic analogies, Takeda Shingen acts as the emperor of their group, and Hinamitsu as his general, his hand, his Shogun, just if the Shogun were actually subservient and loyal to his Emperor’s cause.
Long may he reign...Long live Sanzensekai.
