Reason for PK: I was retroactive Pked by Rem for the incident found here, I will go more in depth down below.
Why should you be unPK'd?: First and foremost, I would like to directly apologize to the members of the roleplay scenario in which I ruined. Along with this I would like to apologize to the members of the Upper Administration for my actions as a faction leader. I will attempt to keep this as brief as possible, but also include all relevant details to the situation that led up to the eventual PKing of my main character.
First of all, I acknowledge the fact that what I did was wrong and against the rules. I ruined people’s roleplay experience. For some backstory, I had learned that one of my associates was arrested (Joey LaRocca). Using this information from my main I swapped to my alt character to kill the cop and free my associate. In hindsight this was a very bad decision and I should not have broken server rules. The primary reasoning behind my doing this was to not incentivize this sort of behavior such as shooting at police and committing crime in front of our properties to my associates.
Why I feel the PK is Unjust: After speaking with Rem via discord and divulging my intentions I was told “punishments are discretion” in which I have nothing wrong with, but I feel the punishment I received was incorrect considering the context and scenario. I would like to point out none of my characters died within the roleplay scenario, but obviously that doesn’t excuse my actions through meta gaming, etc. I personally believe that some other form of punishment excluding a PK would be more reasonable for the situation keeping the fact in mind that I didn’t die. Although I metagamed via information learned on my main character, I didn’t die within the RP scenario, so it doesn’t make sense to PK my main despite benefitting from actions on my alt (I also believe the supposed 'benefit' was counterproductive as I accidentally shot my associate as well as the two officers). I was not trying to avoid something by swapping to my alt as I didn’t die in any IC situation , however I did indeed metagame and believe I should receive other OOC repercussions.
