you hired someone to mug for you that is somewhat the same as mugging people and one of the faction rules is no mugging people. you had a part in the mugging as you got part of the profit the guy you hired made from mugging people it also doesn't matter if you stopped him from mugging family members when you weren't allowed to mug in the first place. you should in fact remain pk for not following family rules.
