Players interested in buying vehicles have no way currently to know which vehicles have what statistics beside word of mouth. Test-driving a car either costs as much as it does to buy it or is at least too absurd of a price to pay to not own the car. I propose that test driving car prices be updated to maybe 10% of the full price or some percentage, and on top of that they despawn when the player dies. The second part I include so that we do not have a server full of people driving fancy cars just because they are all 'test driving it'
This change is very needed if vehicle statistics aren't added to the car dealership GUI as buying cars is a major money sink for the game, and players shouldn't be forced to gamble. Right now probably 70% of players just use the Dodge Monaco because its cheap and safe. If they could view car statistics they would have reason to save up for a specific ride they like the aesthetic and performance of. This change to test driving would be a change easier for development to implement, if not making them despawn on death then at least just reducing the price would be enough for a temporary improvement of the current car purchasing system.
