I see your point, but I want to make the argument that I didn't rage quit. I committed an RP suicide of my "Don" character to end the court proceedings. Had I rage quit; I would have just left without any RP to put an end to it (just deleted the character, for example). You also have to know that OOC'ly during that particular point of the trial, I had Flu Type A, Pneumonia, and Strep Throat all at the same time. It was a struggle to catch my next breath, much less keep up with a trial that was headed into its 3rd re-trial. This was my reason for the RP suicide. To this day, I still believe had I continued on, I would have beaten Riggs for a 3rd time and had him reprimanded with the NYPD, but life sometimes has a way of throwing its wrenches in plans.
To add onto this, I'd like to point out that I have continued to play the server through all of the negatives (staff removal and the end of the family). Admittedly, less time was given, but that was not because of rage. I just decided to take a step back, refocus, and make a new plan.
