Plastic surgery's should wipe recognition. That being said, cops should still remember your face after questioning you and looking at your ID. If you want to avoid this, there's reasonable in game solutions; Such as:
1. Don't open carry. Seriously, do you really really REALLY need a shotgun visible on your back? I honestly have never open carried a firearm except on my short female character because it was funny that the shotgun was my size. And even then I expected, and accepted that I'd be permanently recognized by any officer that questioned me.
2. If you really really REALLY wanna open carry and it's so important to you, only do it on PRIVATE property. Keep a gun in a locker in your property, and put it back when you leave the property.
3. Concealed carry like most people. Seriously, concealed guns are 99% of the time way better than class 2s anyway. Ranger gang fr.
4. Accept that you may be documented, sought out, and eventually arrested by police and face a major Legal RP situation. This is the reality of being a criminal, that you will eventually get caught. Your goal is to play it out as long as you can, and if the time comes that you get a mad court battle, already have had enough money to get a goated ass lawyer.
