Actions have consequences. I don't know what kind of intrusive thoughts you had but shooting at an officer, regardless if it's a joke or not, is generally not a good idea overall. While us staff are responsible in guiding the players through the server rules, we are not however responsible in hand-holding players in every aspect of RP, and players should generally know that certain actions may result in bigger consequences than others. Whether you take certain situations as jokes or not does not mean that the other players should also assume that it is a joke.
I highly suggest that you use this PK as a lesson to take time and think before doing something next time, and probably not let your intrusive thoughts win.
