Hi! In the clip provided you did not say anything at all to lead the officers to believe you were surrendering other than putting your weapon away. In addition to this, the officer you shot died in the same clip soon after due to you shooting him.
I am willing to discuss this with you but as I see it your character put his life on the line and as a result died. It was a risk you took.
