They followed the guidelines when attempting to PK someone collaborating with the police, they saw you snitch on them and warned you to not go any further with it you ended up doing the opposite so they were allowed to PK you. They followed proper escalation the offering you a job thing and then killing you just looks like their way of making you talk to them without suspecting anything and running off.
