Reason for PK: I was in a gunfight with police and other people, when my gmod crashed.
Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?:
My gmod crashed during a gunfight with police and other people.
Before my gmod crashed I had killed 1 of the cops and 4 other people shooting into my house.
In the sit I was told that as I was on 5hp I would have most likely died anyway and so I was getting PK’D. I think this is extremely unfair as my gmod crashing is something that is completely out of my control. I joined the server back as fast as I could (less than 2 minutes) in order to continue the rp but it was too late as I had joined back and no one was inside/outside my house.
There is nothing I can do to prevent my gmod crashing (except buying a better laptop) .
I explained this to Toast, the admin and he asked Captain Bacon who said that I was already on 5hp, it Is likely I would have died.
Im quite confident in my fps abilities and had the advantage of being inside the house with the light turned off and gun pointed at the doors. The cops wouldn’t have been able to see me immediately which would have given me the chance to fire first. Which is why I believe I wouldn’t have died. I also had bandages in my inventory which I would have used (if my gmod didn’t fuckin crash).
I understand Toast's and Captain Bacon's point of view but I believe it is unfair to PK someone for something that is out of their control due to a device fault.
I dont record my gameplay because my gmod already runs on 25fps as it is, so I have no clips.
