Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): Founded in 1971 by Raymond Lee Washington and Stanley "Tookie" Williams the Crips have found themselves in a place of power and notoriety, Jerome Tyson joined early on proving himself in the mean streets of L.A to be willing to do anything for his Gangs fast rise to the top of L.A Gang culture,
Jerome and his brother John quickly found themselves in places of power running crews and selling drugs in the inner city but it all was going to come crashing down, a botched hit on the bitter rivals The Bloods left two civilians dead and one Blood injured not only that the FBI had been looking into the workings of the Crips and had a few snitches infiltrate the upper reaches of the Gang.
On March 9th 1985 Jerome's house was raided by the FBI and DEA they found thousands of dollars in drugs and guns on the scene, they arrested five of Jerome's crew they all flipped on him, Raymond called him to a meeting sure he was going to die Jerome was ready and willing to die for the mess up instead Raymond said " Jerome you're an OG I want you go to New York and start up a "set" ( A smaller gang affiliated with the Crips) if you can do this you will be forgiven".
With this in mind Jerome and John didn't sleep at all on the flight into New York they spent it planning on how to get the set running quickly, they landed in the early morning of March the 10th 1985 within two days the set was up and running the rest will go down in history
Also we are not the southside crips we have no members from that group.
