This is not the kind of things that staff should be putting their priorities into. At most this should have been a kick or a verbal warning, especially if the player had no prior bans for this issue. These kind of things are what creates a tear between the playerbase and the staff. That isn't to say harsh punishments shouldn't be handed out, because in certain situations, thats the only way the player will learn from the mistake they made...
However, this situation, is not one of those situations. Although punishment is at staff discretion, this is a bit ridiculous considering the player: Didn't RDM or ruin another players experience, didn't have a prior ban on record for AFKing, may not have even KNOWN about the rule surrounding this, and never received an ample warning before his ban.
