"Why should you be unPK'd?: I believe the reason for my PK is very contestable, and those who PK'd me broke a rule themselves before coming to kill me. While mugging an individual, his friend fired upon me from around thirty feet away so I returned fire. However, the person I was in the process of mugging attempted to wrap around me and pull out a weapon while still almost directly in my POV. I killed him at that time, and he was then apart of the situation that ended in my PK even though he died in the situation. In my defense, I did not hear the man tell me to put my hands up. I only saw him get out of his vehicle about ten to fifteen feet away from me and pull out a weapon, so I pulled out mine and fired upon them. I offered a different solution to these two inside the admin situation, but they refused and were adamant in PKing me. I believe this situation was poorly roleplayed, and does not constitute a permanent kill of my character. I do not have the video of the PK itself, but I do have the video the individuals friend has of the actual situation that started this. You can also hear inside the video the two are metagaming by disclosing IC information OOC. His friend asks "are you dead?" and responds with "yes." near the end of the video below."
I would like to note at the beginning that I was involved in this PK since I am the member of the same faction as them, found the person who was killed, and aided in killing the person who broke FearRP.
So the initial video that shows you taking fire from an individual while you were mugging their teammate is of no issue. However, the person getting mugged and their involvement, based off the video, ends at him being mugged. Granted I could very easily be wrong but going off of what is provided it really seems like you reaped the consequences of mugging the wrong guy. Besides in the video that actually showed you breaking FearRP can't be chalked up to "I didn't hear him" since he has the gun drawn on you off safety prior to you having yours out and practically point-blank. Also, the PK in of itself is really only being based upon you breaking FearRP to my knowledge. I.E. if you abided by FearRP and complied you probably would've been fine unless some additional things showed up. For example, they search you and find out, somehow, you are a former member of Cartel de Cali. I bring this up because, I assume, you didn't mug him for the value threshold you need to hit to constitute a PK in that area and he didn't specifically witness YOU kill him since I believe there were two people mugging if I remember right. Regardless in the video you provided it really doesn't show any information being relayed in regard to whether the person was dying since it wasn't answered whatsoever. Even if that information was relayed the individual didn't act on it since, if he did, he would've acted upon it in some way as he saw you going to cityhall. The rule for metagame isn't really all that complex "Metagame = Using Out of Character information In-Character" or if we want the more specific rule "You cannot use IC info in OOC scenarios and vice versa. (Meta)" With that in mind how are you gonna confidently say that anyone here, besides yourself, broke a rule. Metagame is solely dependent upon acting upon the information gained through those means. Even then he isn't dependent on that ONE piece of information to shoot you or mug you later on in the first place since he literally watched you as you were mugging him and the information pertaining to the dude's death was gotten, as I mentioned, not even a minute later.
Side Note : When he mentions that he "offered a different solution" in the sit pertaining to his PK I will enlighten whoever is reading this as to what the "solution" was. Although, I do not have this recorded but he acknowledges that he offered an alternative and I believe the staff handling it could probably attest to it. Granted if they did hear it I feel as though some sort of punishment would've been dished out at the time on top of the PK. Regardless, he, allegedly since I don't have it on recording, offered up what was in his inventory at the time and about 40k in cash. This in of itself is incredibly low but also ruins the integrity of RP assuming that the "compromise" would've been accepted. I.E. "Please no no no please don't PK me. If you PK me you won't get anything out of it how bout I just give you some cash and we keep playing okay?" Stuff like this, assuming we accepted the deal, would essentially have to void all of the interaction we had with you leading up to it. Which to put it simply is a no go and ruins RP and downplays the seriousness of respective actions like breaking FearRP.
