The history of this crime group has been very controversial, mainly due to the player reports against their don, Michael Flanagan, for minging (and abusing his alt judge character to harass cops) in which he received several warnings and bans. While Flanagans did hold a level of power in the server, there has been universal disdain for Flanagans for their methods on how they interact with staff and the player base (Chriss O'Connor is one prime example). When Flanagans ended, Grant and Michael gave up millions of dollars to leave for UGS. Regardless, I recall specifically Grant stating he will never return to Diverge as he finds it no longer fun, and Michael (Ghasts) stating he will not return to the server unless there is a money wipe. (Diverge's quality has improved over the year, and a money wipe never happened)

So what standard of behavior should be tolerated for faction leaders in Diverge? As I write about this, I am not focusing on the history of success or failures of Flanagan's faction in RP, I am focusing solely on the quality of character that we should hold Faction Leaders too and the standard we hold them too as Grant applies for this. We must look at the standard of quality because toxic Faction Leaders can lead to the server RP quality dropping.

First regarding Grant's character, I have no doubt he can lead a faction, as he has done it before, but his character qualities does not suit the nature of what Diverge's quality of faction leaders should aspire too. Grant currently is a Senior Admin and apart of Roleplay Management of Vulkan Networks (formerly Head Gamemaster for a short time): https://gyazo.com/d1e1314430d7be11c41e2f38190534c3, and was formerly apart of UGS leadership. As Grant left UGS, he openly admitted in his second PK character denial ticket (after already being denied his PK once by UA) that he nuked all the documents for UGS after leaving: https://gyazo.com/c2b83eb1a4b800c27fcc86c031f1a6e4

This is already one example of toxic behavior of an unstable individual that cannot be trusted to maintain basic documentations, let alone for a faction he is leading. If Grant gets angry, will he leave his faction in the dust and delete all of their documentation? When Grant moved over to UGS, he supported Audrey in attempting to subvert Diverge's policy of removing factions that decide to make a faction on different servers: https://gyazo.com/18b54ee36080e7e138032a6b18b49b12

As Grant states after Audrey attempts to use the "Audrey's Friend Role," Grant responds with "This is smart." Grant does not have the best interest in supporting Diverge Networks and supported the ruination of our community. It does not matter whether or not Grant wants to play either server, it is a problem to approve a faction application to an unstable individual who has no interest in supporting our community and playing with others here. Grant rather seeks to destroy those around him for his own personal ego, and cannot be trusted because he already did it for Vulkan Networks.

This was evidently clear when Grant attempted two times to appeal his Jake Grant character after I have already settled the matter of his PK with staff and the courts a year ago, and attempted to evade going to court for months in his ticket so he can keep his character, and to this very day, Grant still lies that his character is still alive to his close friends because he cannot handle his ego of losing his main character: https://gyazo.com/ed8e7092ad4904ff68ecc3070911c858
Even when Grant/Flanagan ran the NYC government, it was a colossal failure that ended up with the government getting nothing done and Grant ending his term.

The importance of being a faction leader is to create fun, controversial RP with other factions in a fair manner that respects the rules and the community. I fail to see how Grant has done any of those things to make him competent to ever lead a faction again, let alone the Flanagans after they ran to two other failed servers. The only reason why this app is made, is because UGS and Vulkan failed to make a server that was fun for Grant and Ghasts, while all of the faction leaders and players on our server (Diverge) have put in time, money, and hours of effort to build their factions in a manner that respects Diverge's rules and staff.

So why would it be acceptable to approve a faction application to a doc nuking egotistical community trasher that has no interest in the betterment of our community? If you don't see it too, then you have came to the same conclusion as I have.

-1: Due to Grant and the Flanagan group failing to meet the basic standards of quality player expectations to run a faction on Diverge Networks. Regardless if Grant is leading this group, he is still apart of the process as he posted this application.

The Flanagans have an undisputed reputation for being extremely toxic and undesirable to play with within our player base. Whilst this is just a game at the end of the day, their actions can have a severe impact on peoples mental health irl. I have personally been a victim of their abuse and personally seen them target people like Rem when they don’t get their own way. This server is not just a game to them, their preferred way to win an argument is to target their chosen victim personally with personal insults about them irl  in order to win. They are the literal definition of Toxic, and have embarrassed themselves by making this faction application by crawling back to diverge.

We can not be encouraging this type of behaviour within the community by accepting this faction application.

That reputation only is around this little hate group that the NYPD and The Gov factions the PK victims and Fallan faction and enemies have against flanagans, because none of you could take us down no matter how hard you tried and I am still laughing in your faces. Ever since your first failure to capture me you have been the most hypocritical person i have ever encountered, ready to play victim and whatever other card you need to remain in the good light of others while trashing on others. 

Embarassed ourselves is also extremely rich coming from yourself. the same dude to say "This is just a game" and then moan about how people in the game have "victimised you" like are you serious right now.

Most of the -1's reasons either have no correlation with flanagans or arent the real reasons at all, instead they have their little hidden motives which i am fully aware of 
 
Everyone who is -1 this app most of them are people i have went up against in some way or other during my time in diverge and won against them. Your all still mad i get that but not even I the so called "definition of toxic" would try and stop someone from gaining a position anywhere through lies, half truths and slander. You cry about Flanagans when you know we were one of the top factions within the server and we left because we were bored of the same thing, so you try and say we left for "so and so reasons" lying about this and twisting the words  i said a while back to your benefit knowing full well no one would remember what i actually said anyway. we come back to miami and you try and use this opportunity to stop us because of what? some random beef that you or some of my past associates had that I personally barely remember nor care about. Like randomly some of you donnies would randomly message me on discord trying to spout an argument with me while I legit have no memory of you, and the only way you would remind me of who you are is by trying to bring up this or that and try and continue whatever beef I had left behind long ago. I dont hold grudges and I personally do not care for any single one of you who would say I target them or whatever

Flanagans is a 4 year old faction thats been around MafiaRP longer than literally every single person -1'ing we have always played by the rules in a server and we have never been the bad thing to a server we have been denied from maybe 1 or 2 servers in the past 4 years and most knows that flanagans didnt leave this server for any reason other than simple boredom, he remember what old MafiaRP was like, jumping from server to server because each one kept lasting for like 1 to 3 weeks, I had been on diverge for like a year and stayed on it throughout its many competitors and as soon as I leave people try and say i abandoned it? BRO i was litterally I think the first faction invited onto the server and i stayed on the server from its very beginning, Throughout that time i provided the only Irish faction people could stay in and enjoy themselves in, I provided many RP events using my bar, casino and all the other resources which you all know is true but here we are you would rather prevent such a faction from joining because you had some petty beef with one of its members months ago, its a fucking game and im not gonna cry over getting denied nor will i cheer over getting accepted I will simply do my job and ill do it right once more, I stick to myself always until someone goes out of their way to come at me and i have always done that and thats how flanagans has always been which you can prove that by looking at our war history and conflicts, and all of you know i never said a word to any of you before you tried doing whatever it was you did to provoke me to do whatver small thing i did like "call you a name" or "fuck around with you" as if none of you have ever just decided to late at night mess around and say some silly shit that doesnt even constitute minging. I remain this way, im the same dude with like 1 warn for bhopping and not whoever your try to paint me as like "having multiple bans and warnings"

Just to note, Pendred himself said Flanagan's will always be welcome back. Surely they done something right for such a warm farewell from the owner? Ghast's has been playing before most, you don't survive that long minging and breaking rules

+1 I actually think that with some new people the Flanagans can become alot better. I interviewed some people and with the info I gathered they seem like a good faction.
