You thought you were going to get PKed so you transferred your stuff to someone else. This is a big no no, if you had been PKed you would have gotten the stuff on your new character. Intention is clear. Since you were not PKed for whatever, the ban is lower.

So where's the ban on Jack or half the players on the server? Just strange to not even be spoken to and be immediately banned, but it's whatever.

Well I didn't get PKed, so I didn't transfer anything over? How can I be banned for doing something I didn't actually do?

You were not banned for the item transfer, but the Failrp and metagame discussing it and executing it. Did you read the ban reason?
