Why should you be unbanned? Okay, so the story starts as follows: Someone in the faction I was apart of (The Diamond) was a snitch; he wore a wire and spammed me over Discord to get me to do a deal with him in game. Once I had been arrested, he messaged me, asking why he was no longer in the discord (he had obviously been kicked since he was a snitch). I told him that he didn't need to lie over discord, and he said this in an attempt to get a reaction out of me. This was on August 6, 2023. Now, two days later, on the 8th of August, I messaged him packed after he had been pked (he was pked through IC info; I was let out of the PD as a CI and told members IC that he was a snitch before taking my chars life (faith tiddlywinks). After I'd been pked, I messaged the dons of a few factions that they should blacklist him. Once again, I do admit this is meta and should be punished accordingly. Then on the 11th of August, he asked me if he could join the diamond on another character. I said no; I admit this is metagaming, and I expect the punishments that should come with it. This then turned into a lot of arguments about him somehow being a multimillionaire. This argument was very childish on both sides, and I said some pretty fucked up shit such as 'yeahhhh i dont care hope ur girl swerves into traffic! :3'. I of course apologise for saying that, as it was in the heat of the argument and after he got my character pked and messaged me almost daily. He then messaged me on the 15th of August, 'Daily reminder that you're a n***er'. On the 16th of August, he messaged me, 'Made a UA report on you, metagaming bye bye faith, once again attempting to get a reaction out of me that I can assume was to help with his report against me. Then later on the 16th, he would message, Get Fucked 2 Weeks, after reporting me for meta. After this, he sent a follow-up message, saying, I'm in a call with Monaclu and some other guy, and they're getting rid of the blacklists, and they were going to ban you for 3 weeks, but since you're breaking global rules, it's permanent. 


Now, the reason I felt the need to give such a long backstory to the situation is that I feel a permanent ban is too harsh for the situation. I was messaged by 'BoomRoasted' about the situation. I admit I was not fully truthful at the start, but I did tell the full truth in the end. Boom said the reason it is a permanent ban is because you were perma because I was able to gather proof that you were harassing this guy and went as far as to message the dons of factions to get him pk'd'. This is a completely untrue. I never told any member of any faction to PK any of his characters over OOC means, and as you can see from all the screenshots, if anything, I was the one being harassed with the almost daily messages. Boom refused to share any proof of me asking Dons to PK him (BCC, THERE IS NO PROOF).


Now that the full story has been told, I will go on to my apology. Since the situation has been dealt with, I have looked back on it, and I will say I am very upset with myself about some of the things I said to him. I now know I should have just ignored the DMs and stayed out of the arguments, and I regret having not done so. At the time, I didn't see how much what I was doing could fuck with someone else's server experience. If I were to be unbanned, I would not use any OOC information against the reportee or anyone else playing the server for that matter, as I have now seen how much meta can affect the roleplay of the server.

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this (I know it was a lot), and I regret my actions and feel full remorse for what has happened through discord dms and i plan on conducting myself properly IC and OOC if anything ever was to happen again in future and i am sorry for the interaction which happened with him to lead to this.

PS. he messaged me ONCE again on AUG 25th saying 'hows ur ban going'. i repeatadly told him to stop messaging me but he continued. I asked him to stop dming me. He then dmed me the next day with some gifs dispite me asking multiple times for him not too

i will say this, after the faith pk he made another character and in the span of 4 days he was homies with many large factions, also whenever id be at events on my civ character (my other character being dingleberry who turned him into a snitch) he would always try to get me kicked out and was overall aggressive and salty so i will say the metagaming was a core issue

Alright, lets start from the top. When confronted about your metagaming you several times denied it, telling me to provide you the "proof", the proof is that James and I pulled in a Don you metagamed with into a sit and questioned him. He admitted that you were the one going around telling all the factions to blacklist this guy and that he was a snitch. You fervently denied that your actions were metagame, you continued to lie about your involvement and went so far to even say that your actions did not constitute metagame. You saying that you didn't make them PK him just doesn't make sense, if they didn't know he was a snitch from IC information they would never would have acted. That's like handing someone a loaded gun and saying he's the snitch, of course they are going to kill him, your involvement was the catalyst that sparked everything, and yet you still deny your actions were harmful and have yet to take any ownership of them.

As far as the DM's, there is a function on discord called block, playing the victim card when you yourself acted as the part of the aggressor at times, which clearly led you to metagame is just obtuse. Let me put it in this light, " I said and did things that were mean, and then he said something mean back, therefor I am the victim". This deflection defense does not abstain you from any ramifications for your actions. The repeat lying when evidence was presented to you, and the light hearted nature you provided only shows that you clearly have and had no intention in following the rules of the server, which led to ban being increased. As I put it to you in DMs you have ruined the entire role play of another player, why should your role play continue but your actions made it so he gets blacklisted from every faction while you sit on timeout for a few weeks and get to return?

yes, this is correct. i admit to the meta in my appeal and i admit to not telling the truth in the inital questioning. i have since gone back and told the full truth and apologised for the meta involded. I am very regretful of attempting to get him blacklisted, it was all within one week and i didnt really have time to console myself, its been around three weeks since its all happened and since then i have reflected on how much my actions could have ruined the said persons rp and im very happy i was brought up on it and punished (although i believe it was too harshly).

I thought the blacklists have already been removed, if that is not the case i would defo want the removed since as i mentioned in the appeal i did not realise at the time the extent that i was going to was very unfair and un needed.
i am not claiming to be the victim in the situation, i am attempting to show the reasons behind me actions that i now know were very unjust.

saying that i was the reason for the pking of his char is unfair in my opinion. Like you said, i agree i did have play in it but not once did i mention he should be pked, now im not attempting to shift the blame onto anyone but surely what people did with info has nothing to do with me? yes i should not have provided it in the first place correct but i do not think i should be help accountable of that happened next.

once again, doesnt this argument kinda work both ways? also, yes i do admit i am in the wrong and completely at fault for the situation and agree i should have been punished but not as harshly as i was. this is not me attempting to say my actions were ok and not against server rules this is me apologising after looking back on the situation and promising it will not happen again if i were to be unbanned
