Seat Weapons

It may be glitchy for some weapons/vehicles but I think having seat weapons would be a cool fun idea.

It would also be smart to make it so you could only use handguns/concealable/one handed guns while in a car (because your hands are occupied with the wheel) and any gun while sitting down with ALT+E (cause your hands wouldn't be occupied)
The thing is for it to properly work you would need to go into first person and I know a lot of people don't like going in first person when driving.

Made test videos with these two mods, some ArcCW weapons and the El Camino car to showcase how it would function.

Concerns

Some ppl are going to say "oh my god this is so abusable there will be so many minges rdming1!!11!1!"  Its like they wouldn't RDM if they didn't have seat weapons ?

Simphys

Now with simphys it is a little wonky but using the simphys seat weaponizer tool addon (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...eapon+seat) it make simphys seat weapons better

One issue is that you can accidentally shoot your car inside, but you just need to be careful when handling a firearm in your car and you should be good, it is really easy to NOT blow your car up while sitting in the vehicle

This is something really cool that I never thought even existed in gmod. Would be really cool to work on regular seats too.

Would it not destroy the car your in if your accidentally shot at it by mistake though?

This would be cool but I fear it could result in accidental vdms/rdms but it would be cool to try and see would passengers be able to shoot aswell?

Only if you shoot certain areas of the car I believe

Accidental RDMs maybe, just dont have your gun selected when getting in a car

It would make it easy to shoot passengers, yes, you just need to be careful. Honestly in most situations you could just be the passenger and there can be a designated driver and you can just do drivebys that way.
