What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My main motivation for applying is because I genuinely enjoy playing on Diverge. I'm active in the Discord, I try to talk to staff about things that can be done better on the server, and I believe that I can really bring a change to Diverge as a whole. I'm a roleplay-forward player, and with roleplay lacking on the server, I want to do everything I can to be proactive in reviving it so that new and old players can have a good, genuine roleplay experience. I like to think I'm at least semi-familiar with all of the factions, and overall, my intention is to become a gamemaster and improve roleplay on the server. I am someone that is always trying to make suggestions and better the server, so I decided to put myself forward as a candidate for the staff team. I, personally, want to see Diverge thrive, and to do that, I think we just need more good, genuine roleplayers in the community. A couple of good community members stepped up to staffing, and it was one of my main motivations to apply for the staff team.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: First off, I have around 1500 hours on MafiaRP since September, so I believe that I am pretty well known in the community and hopefully someone that people can trust. I am also very open to communication and able to answer DM's at any time, whether I'm at home or at work. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, which I believe can bring a lot to the server, as I have to be open with communication to others and be impartial during sits. I also believe that I get along with most of the staff on the server already. I like to consider myself a good roleplayer as well, as I try to do events, scenarios, and socialize with my faction and other factions. I also have previous staffing experience on other MafiaRP servers. In my opinion, it might also be good to diversify the staff team and maybe have a different outlook.

The Core MafiaRP: Upper Administration, four months
Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: Yes, I was banned on December 17th for 3 hours because I found a money exploit, though I didn't mean to intentionally hurt anyone over because of it. I also have two prop climb warns from December, as far as I'm aware.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would definitely say that a lot of people are aware of me, and if not aware of me, they are usually aware of my character. Some of the members in the community hate my character, some of them love her, but I play Isabella separately from who I actually am. I try to stay as active as I can in both the Discord and in-game. I have also started a faction before, so I like to think I'm a pretty well-rounded community member, at least more in the illegal faction scene. I try to talk to a lot of people in the community and get to know them.

Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.
Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would try to reach out to a staff member if I know that they are online, or alternatively, post in staff chat. I would check to see what time it is (whether EU, US, or AUS), and reach out to someone that is awake during that time zone. I would explain the situation with details, check logs, and try to provide the proper evidence as to what happened in the RDM. I would also ask the person who reported it to see if they recorded the incident.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would speak to someone about it and make them aware of what the staff member is doing, even if I don't have anything concrete. From there, I would try to gather as much evidence as possible, whether from people who have interacted with the staff member abusing or from my own eyewitness. Once I got enough evidence, I would take it to someone higher than me and try to do as much as I could to get that person removed.
A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?: I would 100% ban them without a doubt. I usually warn my friends beforehand not to do anything stupid, and if they do, that's on them. There have been times when I was staffing and people got mad at me for punishing them, but it's something that needs to be done and they should already be aware of the rules.
