The 2 brothers worked in a gun factory where they manufactured guns, getting paid minimum wage and barely having enough money to put food on the table. They tried getting money other ways like robbing pubs in Birmingham and breaking into homes. After a while the Boswell family name started to find other ways to get money like importing cigarettes and alcohol but with money came attention, attention from other gangs in the area and London but also the police. Soon after the police raided their house and they got taken to jail. Awaiting their sentence which was very surely hanging, The police commissioner of Birmingham visited the jail and gave them a deal, a deal they couldn’t say no to. It was an assasination job on a judge, at this point it was assassinating the judge or death by hanging. So they took the job without any explanation on why, how or when. 5 months later they received a letter telling them to be at a horse race track in london at 2 pm and be ready for the job. Abraham and Lucas thought to themselves, why would he want us to do it? it’s probably because he’s going to kill us after or get us hanged. They decided to take the first boat that leaves London to New York and start a new life. In NYC they met a jewish man in a pub who offered his help, the jewish man got them in contact with a guy who imported guns and cocaine. Guns were their specialty to sell but cocaine was going to be a little harder for them to sell but they can handle it. Soon after they had a family with a couple of members and made more than enough money but Abraham is a very ambitious person who wanted the only thing in his eyes worth more than money, power. He started the Boswell family and are aiming at getting their name on the map, everyone is going to know not to fuck with the Boswell family he said.
